I experimented with a few ideas over the weekend with my Shirataki Noodle purchase.  So far they are good in a salad that the dressing has had a chance to adhere to and in cottage cheese with chobani.  I'm giving myself a break today from all that fiber.

I had some realization over the past few days....it's not a good idea for me to take 'days off' at this stage.  While I know I am not perfect, I need to focus on the gettign myself back on track right away when I do go away from my program.  I had some slip ups on Friday and have been making excuses all weekend!

B --Protein shake
S -- egg custard
L chicken with bbq sauce, celery sticks
S SF FF yogurt
S celery sticks with PB2
D salmon and salad  SF FF pudding

S  skim milk

drink my fluids to stay hydrated
take my vitamins
walk extra five minutes around the building at work (need to increase activity!)

ok so I decided to eat my veggies and hummus for snack this am instead of pm.
Can I just say that I HATE VEGGIES AND HUMMUS!!!!  I WOULD RATHER EAT NOTHING. Why do we do this to ourselves? Why do we force ourselves to eat crap we dont like, when trying to get back on track???

It is so hard to dimsiss the diet mentality, it really is. Man oh man I still feel sick when I think about eating cottage cheese and beets and such from one of those crazy diets I did....

I do know i need more veggies in my diet but this is not the way to do it. And did you know hummus only has 2 grms of protein?

I am tossing this mess right on out, if I get hungry I will drink a protein shake.

If you KNOW you don't like something then definately don't eat it...or plan to eat it...that's just setting you up for failure.

I'm sure there are plenty of other things you can eat that you do enjoy that are more on track.

Hang in there!

Yes I know this, that diet and torture mentality is difficult to get rid of...being on track does not equal deprivation or torture......

Wow - I love roasted red pepper hummus and slices of english cucumbers.  I never liked it before but now I eat it all the time.
