I am home in PA

Hi Everyone,
I am home from my trip and so tired.  My drive on Saturday consisted of a four solid hours of rain, most of it driving in torrential downpour.  I got to Bedford, PA around supper time, just in time for my Prissy Pouch to have me spend an hour in the bathroom, wanting to hurl.  I have not vomited since my surgery, and I don't intend to start now.  I got back to Langhorne by 1:30 this afternoon, and picked up my wayward puppy from my sister's later in the afternoon. 

I posted more pics on my profile, in the album titled Lincoln.  I won't be posting pics on Faceboo****il my daughter gets to posting hers, as she and I have some common friends, and I don't want to steal her thunder.  The only pic I have on their is my profile pic, the one with the two kids and me in my pink Eagles shirt.

I miss my kidlets, and hate that I have a ton of work to do before I go back to school in three weeks, but reality does certainly bite sometimes.

Welcome home Trish - I can only imagine how NOT happy you were having to leave your daughter and her wonderful family.  Wonder what it was that gave your pouch some bad moments.  Stess maybe?  I am sure the puppy is VERY happy to have you back!  I now have to go look at the pics of Lincoln.  I want to see that amazing little face!  I still can't think about work yet - we can't get in until the 17th and I am so NOT ready - it was a VERY quick summer and I want to keep enjoying the non-alarm clock way of life!

The only thing I did that was work related this summer was buying crayons and markers on sale at WalMart.  I think I already spent my allotment.  Wonder if we will get a contract soon.

Allotment?!?!  HAH!  Like that ever matters!  I think I have spent all of mine until I retire!  Contract?!?!  Yeah right!  She is a complete idiot!  Did you hear that we have to sign the individual contracts when we receive them? They have been saying that for three weeks now and I still have not received it in the mail.  I haven't done any shopping.  I usually do it in July, but I was away so much of the time, that I didn't do that either - I hope this is NOT an idication of how my year is going to go! :)

I always spend way over my allotment, and usually by Halloween.  I did get an e-mail tonight about signing those contracts.  I have not gotten my mail yet from when I was away, so I have no clue if I got it or not.  Ackerman is a gem.  When I work at the hospital, I feel good about myself, my colleagues and my bosses.  I feel valued as an employee and person.  When I park my car at any school in Philly I have worked at, I feel like a piece of meat being fed to the lions.
