Good Morning PA!

I know it's hot out today but are you moving?

Today I will run on the treadmill where it is air-conditioned. Over the weekend I met all of my workout goals that I posted on Friday.

Special attention to hydration this week with the heat!

I was getting a little burnt out on the treadmill, so I went back to the ellitpical for a 60-minute session today. It was a nice change of pace. I'll have to keep some variety in my AM cardio. Keeps things interesting.

I'll be heading down to the gym over lunch today for 60 minutes of weights (and 60 minutes of Maury in the background)

Karate...hoping he cranks up the air in there...he can be a bit stingy with it.

Hey Lesley!  They just started a class about 5 minutes from my house.  I am going to give it a try one of these nights when I have free time. 

I will let you know if I fall on my face or throw my back out!

Let me know how you do.  Don't worry, you won't fall on your face!  I love it because the dancing is so much fun that I forget how hard I'm working and how much I'm sweating, but I usually burn about 700 calories in a class, so it's definitely a good workout!

Today will be something a little new for me.  Instead of runnign this morning, I'm going to the fitness center at work at the end of my work day.  Rob will be doing a "fitness eval" with me (Not quite sure what that entails) and then I'll be working out there.  I plan to do a few miles on the treadmill as part of it, and will likely do some weights and stretching as well.  We'll see.  

This will be my first time working with someone as a 'trainer' (even unofficially) and he has a reputation for being a bit of a drill instructor.  Not quite sure how well i'll respond to that.  will be interesting.
