Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

megan,
some things i really liked on pureed (pureed the solids of the soups in the magic bullet, then mixed back with the broth to heat):
* Italian meatballs with a little fat free ricotta cheese and Don Pepino's spaghetti sauce (it's not got any added sugar and is really good)
* costco has martha stewart's turkey noodle soup (really thick with turkey, veggies, and noodles) - no added sugar and fats are low and protein high. if carbs are a problem for you, you can take out some of the noodles and it will still be thick and delicious
* Italian wedding soup (from wegmans, or anywhere)
* butternut squash soup, with greek yogurt stirred in (OMG YUMMY)
* pureed rotisserie chicken (put it in the blender with a little broth or with some greek yogurt), with a little mashed potatoes and even a little gravy if you like gravy
* sauteed mushrooms and onions in a non-stick pan until soft, then pureed and added to egg beaters "scrambled eggs" (if the texture is too thick, chop the eggs really fine after cooking)
* Puree some frozen strawberries (make sure you get the ones without sugar), add in some fat free or reduced fat cream cheese, a little bit of splenda (optional), and a tiny drop of vanilla extract... makes a "cheesecake"
There are some other great recipes at www.bariatrieating.com as well.
Hope these give you some good ideas!
