Today has me heading back to the hospital for a Chest x-ray and then to the lab for blood work, all the stuff they have circled it looks like they will need to take all my blood. The pre-op testing is just rolling along now.
After taking care of me heading into work till 4 then home to make bean salad and a blueberry buckle for Gene's annual family reunion tomorrow. This is their 52nd.

Good Morning all!
I am at work. Barely awake. Went to bed by 9:30 and still exhausted. Tossing and turning all night sucks. Guess it's everything on my mind that keeps me up.
I am going to muster through the day. It's been a rough week for me. And I have been putting on a brave face and faking alot of smiles. Just hoping to try and focus on positive things so I don't break down and snap!
But this evening we are all going to my sister's to hang out and eat dinner. Hopefully that will keep my mind off things!
Sawyer is racing *his* Kart for the first time tomorrow. I am excited and nervous. Can't wait to take pics and hope he keeps an eye on the flagmen! LOL.

Good morning and happy Friday everyone.
This has been a long busy tiring week at work, and I am glad it is coming to an end. I am thinking about taking a road trip to the casino tomorrow. I need to have some fun. Too much hibernating for way too long.
I am getting anxious about Tuesday which is my final weigh in for insurance purposes and then I go for the insurance approval. I am really feeling tense about that. I know how unbearable insurance companies can be. I have Aetna and I know a few people who with Aetna that went for approval and didn't have any issues, so I am really hoping.
My surgery date is still slated for 9/2 but who knows, I will feel relieved after I get the insurance approval.
I hope everyone enjoys the day.

I'm off today, which is definitely a good thing. Dumping hot coffee all over my hand was not...ouchie
Today I will head to Barix for my six week appt. with Dr. Pupkova. That's about it for today. Since Barix is an hour away, I'll spend a good part of the day taking care of that.
Nothing incredibly exciting for the rest of the weekend. That's ok though.

Tonight I will head home and get the laundry started, then spend some much needed time with my new "friend."
Tomorrow I am heading over to Jersey to visit with my grandmother and my uncle and his gf that are in from North Carolina. After that, I will probably head up to Casa de Benford and just hang with some of my favorite peeps.
Sunday will probably be filled with mowing the lawn and cleaning. Maybe I will take the dogs hiking if it is nice.
