Kari 36 hours post op
I got some text messages this morning, she is doing great, feeling better, and ready to go home. Dr. Boe was in with her this morning and is overly pleased with her progress.
Bill and I were there last night with Steve until just after 10 pm and Kari walked around that place so many times, she tired me out. LOL
Turns out the gas pain she was having was from the gas they use to expand your tummy to do the surgery, not intestinal gas pain.
I told her to keep looking forward to being in her own bed tonight and trust that she is feeling 1000 times better today and that tomorrow will be 2000 times better than that.
As of last night, the nurses said she would be leaving today, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that will Dr. Boe's positive comments this morning, that really happens.
I will keep you all posted.
