Wednesday Roll Call
Morning! Well..it's almost afternoon at this point!
I hope Mary is doing better!
On my days off I've been staying up later (like one or two) and waking up around this time. Not so bad considering I end up switching back to nights, anyway!
Hubby is having a little bit of a reaction to the pain meds he took last night - so he's not feeling 100% quite yet. he'll be fine in an hour or so, though, I think. Just some left over nausea which is common with the pain meds....
Anyway - once he is all better I (or rather, we, if he feels up to it) will be running a few errands to pick up a few things.
Then it'll be home...we'll probably watch some more galactica. I'm making Chicken Caesar Salad wraps for dinner....and then I have to leave here around 9ish to work in jersey for the next two nights.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. 
Good Afternoon Norm,
I am still in Michigan doing the Grandma thing, and having a rough go of it today. Got up at 6:30 yesterday to try to babysit my 2 year old Munchkin and today at 7:00. Could not keep her quiet today. Was not sure what to do, because I wanted to take her out, but she started screaming and I was trying to keep her quiet because my daughter had been in tears from sleep deprivation and hormones being post-partum and all that. I was in a no-win situation. Then, I started to change her clothes and got sidetracked by something else, so she was running around in a T-shirt and diaper, which ticks off my daughter who woke up in a very upset mood and started snapping at me about everything I was doing wrong. If I had the money, I would have gotten in the car and driven home just then.
My daughter's mother-in-law invited Isabel and me to lunch, which was lovely. Isabel's 2 year old cousin was with us and she learned how to open peanuts up, which made for a very messy, but fun lunch time.
This evening has me finishing up a baby blanket I am making, and trying to crack open the Beck Book I never restarted with Nicole, sorry about that Nicole.
Hope Mary is okay. Not sure what the doings are there, but let me know how I can pray for you guys.

Well here's my edit for the day....
We got a phone call that they can fit brian in for another dental appointment tomorrow...whi*****ludes his normal valium pre op and nitrous throughout the procedure...considering it is "only" my per diem job, I called out for tonight and tomorrow night, seeing as though he needs someone to drive to and from the appointments.
Soooooo....I'm NOT going to jersey tonight NOR am I working. Hubby and I are currently watching, of all things, "the goonies" on tv....and we'll spend a quiet evening at home.
It's a nice surprise....makes four days off in a row!
