Good Morning Folks!

The day begins early here, and I'll be off to the gym in a little while. Last night was a trip to the doctor for Mary, and she is doing ok today, if not entirely comfortable yet. Sushi for dinner helps to dull the pain, I suppose.

My work week continues to be on the dry side, but I'm always just eternally thankful for my job - times are tough, and I'm appreciative to be gainfully employed.

I hope you guys have a great day, and that things continue to break your way.

Morning Norm.. I hope Mary's doing ok. Sushi will help, but having you by her side is even better, I'm sure.

Today has me STILL working on that project.  I did more OT yesterday and AGAIN got kicked off the computer at 10 trying desperately to fini**** up.  IT WILL get done today if it kills me.

Siehara is going to New York with camp today.  Hopefully the weather will hold up so they don't have to spend half the day inside.  I am not even sure what they are doing once they get there, but I'm sure a Jewish museum and some yummy kosher food are in order.

After work, I will head to the gym and then I need to pick her up from camp at 5.    After that, I will probably take her to Target or Walmart to pick up a few more things for school.  Then home for dinner and relaxing.

That's it for me.  Hopefully I will NOT have to come back home and work tonight.  I have every intention of ending my work day at 3:00 today.

Good Morning Norm & PA,
Positive thoughts and prayers to Mary and you.

Today has Gene dropping me off at Jeanes Hospital for a ton of morning tests for my surgery. I'll be spending the morning at Jeanes then Gene will be picking me up on his way home from work at noon to go to the cardiologist for my echo cardiogram and visit with the doc.

Have a great day

Ida--
Best wishes as you begin the next part of your journey!!!!!! Let us know how it went!!!!

I used to work at Jeanes when they had a child care facility...my dad worked there for years too.  It was a nice hospital!!!

Good luck !!! BIG (((HUGS)))

Laura,
Thanks. I like Jeanes hospital, it reminds me of the small country hospitals I'm used to from living most of my life in South Jersey.

Testing went well.

I don't have the results of everything yet but do have the cardiologist blessing to have surgery.

He said I'm a minimal risk for surgery, he told me he can't say I'm no risk due to this being a major surgery, but my heart is in good shape

We'll see on the 18th what the pulmonologist has to say.

Morning Norm & PA Peeps!

Hope Mary is feeling better and I 2nd what someone else said, in that your being there is probably a big support to aid her in whatever she is going through ;) Though sushi would be a comfort to me too (lol). . .

It's a work day and like you, I am grateful to be gainfully employed, especially since I spent 3 months this year on the unemployment wagon, not fun . . .

Other than work, my plans include a black and tan, big boy upon return.

Happy Hump Day to all, Laureen

HI all,

Another library day.  Passed my written motorcycle test yesterday so I signed up for the riding course in September.  There are so many conferences and workshops this summer, my head is spinning.  I truly want to go to the OH conference n October but .. maybe Ijust don't have the faith for the money.  I don't know.  I so enjoy it!
