     We all look to you babe for that extra kick-in-the-butt boost when we're falling behind, or just need some great motivation!!  I'm thankful to be able to share in this journey with you!!

     You've been an inspiration to us all, and your continued success keeps lets us know that it IS possible to succeed even after 6 years!!!

Six years!  Wow! 

I want to share something here, mostly for those that don't know you the way I have gotten to know you. . .

2 years ago, I came looking for information and support, and I read some of your posts and thought to myself, who is this hardass. . . ?  Me being me, I reserved the right to find out more and at the October 2007 Pilmgrimage I sat in your group and heard your story and was totally Wowed and so glad that I had not jumped to the conclusion that you were some self-made guru, with an ego that was as large as your waist once was. . .  I am honored to know you!  Many good wishes for your continued successing and well with Mary at your side, life should be full of blessings. . .  Enjoy this day, as just one of many healthy and I'm sure for you, happier ones!

congratulations, Norm!!  You have been one of the biggest influences on my journey with wls and in every day life.  You have been a great friend, mentor, sounding board and all around great, fun loving guy since I met you only weeks after my own surgery.  You are always there to lend a helping hand, share in your knowledge and experiences and you are one  hell of a straight shooter....you always tell it like it is and I so appreciate and respect that.   Your drive and determination is an inspiration to all of us. 

Here's to 60 more years of successing!!!
