Good morning Laureen and PA..  Happy for you that Dillinger is hanging on.

Nicole, I hope things get better for you and your family

Today has me finishing up the freakin' project that was supposed to be done yesterday.  I worked 4 1/2 hrs of OT last night (while babysitting for the 2 year old) and then at 10:00 the stupid system shut down.  Apparently Aetna does not think that people work that late at night which is fine, but I needed to get it done.  UGH! Now, I have missed my target and I am upset about it.  I called my boss first thing this morning and she was ok. She just said it is what it is.. so that helped some, but I am still mad that I am still working on the thing.  SO most of my morning will be finishing this up.

I have a meeting at 1:00 for work and then will finish my work day.

Today is Rocco day at the gym and we will work on back, triceps, and calves.

After the gym, Siehara has an appointment at Kids Peace.  We had to change psychologists because the other one is moving to Chicago so hopefully she will be able to establish a bond with this one and will continue moving in the right direction.

Speaking of Siehara, she was PHENOMENAL and ESSENTIAL in me making it through last night with working and watching our friend's 2 year old.  I made sure I told her repeatedly how great and helpful she was so she would understand how much I appreciated her yesterday.  I actually even paid her $5 for all of her help.  She deserved more, but since I am broke and she's only 10, that's what she got.  I told her that she would make a great mother's helper for someone.  She totally would!

Good Morning Laureen and PA!!!!!!

Laureen--I am glad Dillinger is doing well and you are spending more time with him!!! It is amazing how much love our dear pets give to us and we give to them they are truly members of the family!!!  (((HUGS)))

As for me --today is lowkey...yesterday I had to run into the city to go to the bank and I was headed over to school to get a class list and see if my room was cleaned /painted so I could figure out when, how etc to start setting up for September but  NO ONE was there...it looks like the secretary and my principal are both on vacation...so I will have to call later this week or next week to figure out when I can start going in...

So as for today...just looking forward to listening to some music , reading my book and putting laundry away...straightening up the kitchen and relaxing!!!

Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!!!!

Much luv!!!
Laura

Morning all - love your new avitar Laureen - you were looking hot in that sweater this summer!

I am up and just waiting for the phone to ring telling me my daughter and granddaughters have landed at PHI and I can go get them! Won't see them much today but they'll be back with me next week and I get them for a whole week.

The rest of the day will be spent on the phone and on line looking for assistance for my mom when she comes home. Yesterday they had to give her a blood transfusion and she was told she will have to be on blood thinners for life - she is not a happy camper.

So enjoy the day - big hugs to Dillinger.

Thanks for the the big hugs, I'll give them to Dillinger when I get home and thanks for your comments on my avatar, I was tired of the old one, but could not shrink the new pics small enough, however, someone posted a site on the other forum I participate on and walla, though I think the picture makes me look dumpy (lol). . .

Enjoy your day!

Hi Everyone,

Today has me sitting with one eye open, I can't seem to pry open the other one. I am off today and am just going to hang out with the kids. We are making brownies for our new next door neighbors. We live down a dead end road where there are NO other kids and today we have a family with three boys moving in next door! My kids are beyond excited!

After that, I am not sure what we are going to do. I woke up to my son telling me he had already taken the dog to the creek and she went for a swim, so I have bathed her and am now listening to her bark in the garage...needless to say, i was not to thrilled with my son.

I hope everyone has a great day today. Hopefully we won't see anymore rain!

Morning!

Well I've had a lazy day thus far....I was up early around 8am...did some stuff around the kitchen...and then decided what the hell, I'm going back to bed to cuddle w/ the hubby who is still sleeping.  And that's exactly what I did...I hadn't planned on sleeping - but before I knew it, it was 10:15.  Normally I would feel guilty about "wasting" a morning...but I refuse to do that anymore.  I enjoyed my extra time!

I'll be getting stuff done around here today - thankfully not to much is left due to all the work we did over the weekend. I do have the last load of laundry to put away, though.  It's been sitting all nice and folded in it's basket since Sunday!

Later today Brian has his first "real" dentist appointment which he is totally freaking out about.  The whole dentist thing scares the living hell outta him.  The first part is a full deep clean which they told him because of the decay in his mouth will be "uncomfortable"...and then after that he is having at least 3 fillings done. Perhaps a root canal on one of them (but he doesn't know about the root canal part)  They know how nervous he is, so he was given a prescription and has to take a valium before hand....and then for the actual fillings they are giving him nitrous (laughing gas) so tonight will be spent getting him home, and babysitting him as the meds wear off.

We'll probably watch some battlestar galactica on DVD tonight...and I'll make something for dinner - although not sure if he'll be up to eating or not.

Enjoy - but be careful!  Supposed to be up to 90 today!

Good morning Laureen and everyone- I am so glad that you are stil abe to hold and hug Dillinger.  I need to keep remembering how precious our pets are as my hubby got home from work this morning,  I was still blissfully sleeping, to find that the dog used our living room as a toilet.  Ah....the joys of loving our animals! :)

I just tutored a student and the next 30 hours or so are ALL MINE!  Absolutely no plans.  I think that I may sit outside and read a while, I may break outthe crock-pot and actually TRYto cook something...Stop laughing Lisa!...I may run to try on new clothes over at the Marshall's near me, maybe some scrapbooking, I don't know....so many options!  Hubby is working again tonight, so, more quiet me time.  I might be bored by then, so lots of facebook time!

I hope you all have a wonderful day.  Nicole, sending positive thoughts to you and your family with hopes of status quo soon!
