Tuesday Roll Call. . .

Good Morning PA!

Can't believe no one started the post yet, as I checked in an hour ago, so I'll start it. . .

First off thanks for all the kind responses, prayers and thoughts for me and Dillinger, he is doing good today.

Well I woke up, bright as a sunny day at 4 this morning, even Dillinger was in deep sleep and when I finally decided it was time to put the pot of coffee on and drink a bottle of water, it was just before 5 a.m., guess my body determined I only needed a short sleep last night. . .  anyway, nothing too exciting going on today, simply going to work and coming home to spend time with my boy, that's my life these days, very low key, though I did manage to get out Sunday and finally purchased a sleep sofa for my new porch/family room and a beautiful new queensize storage bed that I fell in love with, it has cedar draws and is hand polished Australian pine, though I will need a step stool to get into it.  Not having it delivered until the couch comes in, because of course they don't stock it in the color I wanted, which is a nice deep brown, so probably end of September, early October.

Time to get ready for work, so I can afford to pay for my new furniture. . .

You all have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Laureen

Good morning Laureen.

I was up early today too, but we crawled back into bed, a move I am now regretting a little because I'm dragging a bit.

Glad to hear Dillinger is doing well. Our animals can certainly amaze us sometimes. As I type this, my lazy cat is sleeping on the futon in a decidely un-amazing fashion. She did manage to lift her head and meow once when I came downstairs. Apparently she had a rough night and needs to sleep it off.

Work for me today as well. Looks to be a dry one. A very repetitive annual task that I somehow inhereited due to staffing cuts. I'm taking Opie & Anthony mp3s to listen to at work to make the day go by while I toil. We're off to the Dr.'s tonight.

Well, time to drag my flabby white cheeks to the gym. Have a great day!

Good Morning Laureen and PA

Talking about our four legged friends, one of mine woke me up out of a very sound sleep which I don't get too often. Even though he is now sound asleep and I am unable to go back I still love him dearly.

I'm happy that Dillinger is still with his devoted Mom and you are enjoying that lovely home together.

Off to the gym , then to take my mom for some appointments.

Have a great day, despite the heat and humidity.

Arlene

ps, Laureen - Got your message late, after I got out of work.  Will ttyl.

Good Morning........Not so perky today but I will muster through.

I am back to work after a 3 day weekend. It turned out to be quite an interesting weekend with some unexpected things thrown at us. So it didn't turn out to be the weekend we had planned. But.....kids are good and Johnny and I are still chugging along, so at least I can say that much.

Hope things turn around soon. I am determined to have a positive attitude, no matter what gets thrown our way!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Nicole, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Good morning everyone, well another day closer and counting the days until my surgery.  It is 4 weeks from tomorrow but it still seems light years away.  I guess the reality wiill kick in after we go for insurance approval next week.  I have my last weigh in next Tuesday.

I stayed the course and went to the gym 3 times last week and went yestereday.  I am going to try and muster the strength and go again at lunch today.  I had trouble sleeping again last night and I am dragging already, trying to get motivated to go to work.

Does anyone know any good secrets for insomnia?

Anyway, that's it from here, have a great Tuesday all.

Good Morning All !

Gotta love our furry friends - my little cat sleeps on my hip every night : )

Today has me working all day and then working tonight at the Dr.'s office.   Probably make a stop at the grocery store on my way home.

That's about it for me today.

Hope everyone has a super day !

Lisa
