Monday exercise

Well, I've just settled into my desk, and the coffee's brewing. Did my 45-minute treadmill routine and sweated like a hog from 5 minutes on. It's HOT here today!

I will be down at the gym over lunch today to do my weight routine. I'm still a bit tender from Friday's workout, so we'll see how that goes.

I'm finally almost out of the woods on the whole illness thing. I should be hearing back from the Dr. soon to see if I need to go on any kind of medication.

I did my hour on the Elliptical and will be walking on my breaks and lunch but that will be it for this chickie:)

Hi Norm!

I am leaving for the gym in about 10 minutes.  I am spinning today and will do some arm work.  Spinning is not my favorite class but it is a good sweat!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

hitting the gym tonight and will do cardio--either recumbant bike or treadmill

Also doing some strength training -- probably shoulders and biceps

Hey Norm; Happy MONDAY (that was a joke)...

Will be hitting the gym after work to do 30-40 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes of weight training on the machines.

I worked out Saturday on my recumbant bike - have added hand weights to those work-outs and they seem to be helping a lot. Tried doing the same yesterday but the storm knocked power out when I was 4 songs into my w/o so I couldn't finish and by the time it came back on I was over it. Did ride my bicycle last night, tho.

Today is a day off for me - feeling really draggy for whatever reason. Could be all the stress finally catching up. We're supposed to be meeting friends after work for a birthday celebration so that cancels out any exercise plans I would have.

Back to it tomorrow, tho...

The karate school is closed this week for vacation, so I will be hitting the gym hard all week.  I will do some weight training, but I am going to focus on burning calories.  I like having goals to work towards, so I am setting a goal of burning 6000 calories between the eliptical and the treadmill this week.  I don't care if it takes me 100 hours of cardio work, i am just working towards the 6000 calories.

Good afternoon everybody,
Great workout at the gym this morning.  Started on the free weights for a solid hour, did the Planet Fitness 30 minute workout, then worked on my abs for about 20 minutes.  Finished the day up with an hour on the treadmill.  Had some serious perspiration going the whole time.  Starting to feel like the old self now, which is something I've needed for some time now.  Thank God!

Day 29 of my 30day challenge...feeling great about my accomplishments.  I worked out for 4
30 minutes with the EA sports and 30 minutes of WIIFit.  I am getting ready to go to OBX on vacation.  Got my travel packs of Unjury protein mixes in the mail today.  I really feel confident in the fact that I knoe I will do well on vacation.  I will stick to my healthy eating and focus on a lot of outdoor activities.  I was hoping I would have ten more pounds off (my personal goal) by the time I doned a bathing suit...Oh well ...I am still excited and proud of myself...This year I think I will be able to get out of the beach chair all by myself...yeah!
