Support group in PGH?

Is there one I don't knwo about?  I woudl love to meet people who get what I am gogin through.  My friends aren't really supportive.

as far as western PA / Pittsburgh goes....all of the major hospital bariatric programs have support group meetings monthly i think.

A few of us have been interested in starting up a PGH support group/cooking class and a gal named Jena is working very hard at trying to make it happen.   Hopefully she will be along soon and give us an update!

in the meantime....hang out with us..this is a great resource!

Thanks!  The one at Magee I am not sure abotu it is a group meeting but always with a speaker so it doesn't sound to me like  a support group, just classes.  I want to go to the classes but in my opinion it is not the same.  I doubt I can go to one at another hospital.

I have my first appt with Dr C at Magee at the end of the month. I would be very interested in having a Pgh support group also.

The online support that is offered from our friends across the state (Eastern PA) is great also.
Even if we don't get together physically, maybe we can have a weekly online chat?
