Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning PA!
Seeing as I'm up early and no one started, Trish is visiting her family and hope she is enjoying those grandbabies of hers, I thought I'd jump in and start the thread. . .
Anyway, taking Dillinger to the vet this morning at 8:30 as the storm started just at the time I would have had to take him last night and he is terrified in those storms, poor baby was shaking until it passed, but he seems pretty good this morning, so I'll see what the Vet has to say and take it from there. . .
The rest of the day will be spent with my sister from another mother, visiting from NY who came down to spend time with me in case I needed her support.
Hope you all have a great day and for those going to Barix today, for obvious reasons, I can't attend this month, but I'm there in spirit. Have a great meeting!
Hugs, Laureen

Nice foggy morning! I may have to take my furry daughter to the vet. She has had some tender sides and I can't figure it out. My vet is a country vet. She doesn't have alot of the modern equipment like alot of offices. Sometimes I really like it here, other times.....
I hope to get some stuff accomplished today. I don't want to waste it.
I pray you are okay with whatever happens to Dillinger. He has been a faithful friend to you. I am well aware of how close our furry friends can be.
Yes, I am in Michigan. My daughter and her hubby just left for the hospital about an hour ago, and I am on baby watch with Isabel. When I get the call, I will take the Munchkin to the hospital to meet her brother. We had fun yesterday playing hide and seek and shopping at Sam's. Today, I will be watching her, cooking and cleaning while we wait for Lincoln to be born.
The weather here is glorious. My drive was good. All told, the trip is going well so far.
Hugs and love,

Today has me going in for an oil change which is overdue. After that, I will be headed to BARIX!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!! I'll finally get to meet so many of you in person! I can't wait!!!
Tonight, there is nothing on my schedule except picking Siehara up from the friend who she is hanging with today.
Hope everyone has a glorious day!
I hope everyone's furry friends are feeling fine in no time! Our basset had an upset stomach herself last night. Pretty sure I heard Hubby scrubbing the floor before going to work at 5:00 a.m! Nice!
I think my daughter & I will pick up my mom and go wedding gift shopping. No idea what to buy...may call the family for suggestions first! Maybe I'll pick up some new shoes for the occasion while we're out! (Since the dress only cost me $7 from a resale shop...I think I can snatch up a cute pair of shoes to match!)
After that, probably home for laundry & home stuff.
Hope everyone enjoys the day!

Trish - can't wait for the post that Lincoln has arrived!
Today had me already prepping the food for a picnic later - we are celebrating my Dad and Grandmother's birthday's with a pool party and my Grandmother's this afternoon. I made a SF chocolate cake (my Dad's favorite), watermelon/feta salad, bruchetta and tomatoes with mozzarella and basil.
Have a great day all!
Our original plans have changed slightly. I was gonna get up early and head to the farmers market then come home and get ready for the rest of the day. The alarm went off at 8....I did not get out of bed till 9! Oh well! It was nice "sneaking" an hour out of the day.
I got the veggie tray all made up...ironed hubby's clothes for today...wrapped the presents etc. I need to straighten up my car a little bit.
Then, at about 11:30 we need to head out to my cousins house for the bday party for all three of their children. We'll get to see some family that we haven't seen in a little bit, so that will be nice!
I'm sure we'll be home in the early evening....not sure what's on tap for tonight. Probably just another night home, finishing up the cleaning and organizing we started yesterday - and I need to get in touch with a friend who I have been playing phone tag with to try to set up a get together!

Today I have already ben to the pediatrician to get papers filled out for my girls who are leaving for girl scout camp tomorrow. This afternoon I am headed to Barix for continued, WONDERFUL support. Then tonight, I have a summer "Soiree" at a friends house - That is what she calls it every year - it is a funny and crazy night the first Satruday of August every year! Haven't seen many of these people is quite some time, so I am looking forward to seeing them!
That is pretty much my day - need to finish packing my girls and then a week of peace with just the hubby and me! Ahhhhhh....
I had a real nice chill day.
Target. Starbucks. Petsmart-dropped off Charlie for a groom
went home, took a nap, hubby and dog out all day at the park
so I had some alone time.
Watching the Phillies game and enjoyed an amazing dinner
of shrimp, black bean and veggie salad with homemade
cumin lime vinagrette. Hubby rocks the kitchen.
hope it was a good one for all
