****Thursday Roll Call****
Good morning All -
Today has me at work and then stopping at my mechanic to get a part replaced this afternoon (ugghh - more money...).
Tonight I am going to make my first attempt at structured aerobic exercise. Up until this point, I have only been walking. I think I am ready to ramp up. I have my tried and true "Sweatin' to the Oldies" video that I am going put in tonight. I used it years ago and really liked it. We'll see how far I get.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning everyone - safe travels, Trish - have fun with the Munchkin and the new little one.
I'm at work - nothing too exciting to post about that. After work I'll head directly to the hospital to see mom - she was in good spirits when I got there last night mostly because I was later than usual and she didn't think I was coming, so she was pleased when I showed up. Makes for very long days when you're stuck in a small hospital room with a bed, a chair and a view of brick walls out your window. She's still in the ICU step-down unit because they still have her on the heart monitor - keeping a close eye on the blood clot in her right lung and the pnemonia - poor little thing is getting all puffy-faced from the prednizone now, but at least her breathing is better and they only have 1 IV line in her now. So every day there is improvement and that's a good thing. My sister from Florida is flying up tomorrow so that will be some new company for her and some relief for me.
When I get home from the hospital I'll have to get my butt downstairs to the rec room and clean and dust that and make sure the bathroom is clean - I'm pretty sure the bedroom is in good shape since we haven't had any overnight guests lately.

I will look through the posts - but did I miss your grandson being born? I thought you were going out there and would be in town for the birth...or did Mr. impatient decide cause he was measuring at 40 weeks, it was time?! Congratulations either way!
Laureen - hugs to you both and congrats!
Lisa - GREAT new avatar! Didn't recognize you until I read what you were doing today!
As for me...HOW did it get to be 9:15 already? Hmmm?? I swear...I do a *few* things in the morning and all of the sudden I am WAY over do for bed! Yet...here I sit.
I'll be headed back to work tonight. Last night they started me on orientation - this time to be "able" to go out to triage. I thought you had to be a year at the place to do that - but they said because I have experience and because I do well w/ my patients I can move forward. Good news - but more responsibility and less chances to go home early from here on in. Se la vie - at least I know I'm respected there!
I did a few things around the house...went through the mail...packed my lunch.....and will be headed off to bed shortly!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
