Well my bags are packed, and I am ready to hit the hay so I can get up early and get on the turnpike. Michigan here I come.

Good Morning Trish, PA,
I am so out of touch, I did not read the news, congratulations on the new grandbaby (I'm guessing he is new), enjoy your family!
I've been up since about 4, don't know why exactly, just woke up and snuggled close with my boy, Dillinger who let's me sleep in my bed. I am sure everyone is sick of the saga of me and Dillinger and while it will eventually end, I don't know if tomorrow will be the day, since starting him back on the once daily, low dose pain medication and the massages I give him every morning and night, he seems more like the dog I know and love, so while I am going to take him to vet tomorrow, I think I will be bringing him home, we will see what she has to say. Please know I don't want to keep him going for selfish motives, but I also don't want to give up too soon, he is eating and demanding his treats, the sad eyed look he had last week also is gone, so it's been a complete turnaround from last week. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes from those of you who know what I have been going through.
Otherwise, today finds me going to work and coming home to my sister, who will be visiting with me and Dillinger for the weekend, tonight we will be going to my AA meeting, to celebrate my 22nd year of sobriety (I did so over the weekend in my Women's Group).

BIG ((((HUGS)))) for you and Dillinger!!!!!! As I too had to make that painful decison twice with my beloved Jocko (Border Collie) and my darling ALex (golden retriever) I understand completely. I can tell you that when it is the right time you will know it in your heart and if your heart is telling you now is not the time for Dillinger than be at peace with that. Your heart will tell you and guide you to what is right and when it is time....
Congratulations on 22 years --that is an amazing amazing milestone and accomplishment!!!! You are an amazing woman all around!!!!

Good morning !!!
Well today is another hot and humid one...yuk....my hair is all sorts of uber curly!!!! LOL
But I will continue to stay on the positive side of the street...things were quiet and uneventful yesterday from the"friend"...a good sign I think. So I am going to be happy about that!!
Today I will probably finish reading Dan Brown's Angels and Demons....I liked the Da Vinci Code...I am not too sure about this one though...its not as page turningly thrilling...but I am hopeful. LOL
Never did start on my cross stitich...so today I will at least pull it out and get it set up...that would be nice...it will be beautiful once I complete it...just gotta get started!!!!! My motivation for some things is lacking lately...just feeling beat over everything else that has been going on but trying to stay busy and stay positive!!!!!
Will hit the treadmill in a little bit..amping up the intensity today...must get these last pounds off!!!!
That is pretty much it for me today!!!!!

Laureen-- do what you know is best for both you and Dillinger. Only YOU can make that decision. And congrats on 22 years!!
As for me, today has me working the modified camp schedule even though there is actually no camp today. Shhhhh.. don't tell the boss, I want to get out of work early. LOL! Today is a Jewish holiday/fast day that I have honestly never heard too many details about until this year. (STEF, you can educate me if you want, this is one that gets forgotten about).
After work, I HAVE to get to the gym. BUT, I think Siehara and I are going to either walk outside or do my Walk Away the Pounds DVD first because last night her psychiatrist told her that she needs to get at least 45 minutes of exercise in 5 days a week!! I am SO GLAD he told her that because I've been trying to get her to do stuff with me and she never wants to. Now, I can say that she has to because HE said so!!! It will only benefit everyone in the end! She did enjoy doing the walking DVD with me before, just not very often. SO, if it's not too hot or rainy, we'll go outside. If it is, the DVD is ON!
After the gym, Siehara has an appointment with the psychologist. Actually, we both do. Tonight is family counseling. It will also be the night that we figure out who she will be changing to because this one is moving to Chicago.. nice.. another change in her life. FABULOUS! NOT. hopefully, she hasn't been seeing this guy long enough for it to matter and maybe the next guy/girl will be even better.
