Another Greek Yogurt on the shelves

I came across another brand of Greek Yogurt with the same nutritional info as Oikos. Its by Brown Cow and Redners has it this week for $1.09, the lid says Buy 2, Get 1 free with coupon inside the lid. It comes in the 5.3 oz. cup.

cool I will have to look for that... Lore is wanting me to make cheesecake and I need some greek yogurt to make the one she wants hehehe...

i tried a greek yogurt and i hated it!!! it was plain but i always see everyone talking about it so i decided to try it and it tasted like spoiled milk smells? if that makes sense lol

You have to mix it with something or use it like sour cream

its excellent mixed with s/f f/f jello pudding and pie filling powder

use one individual container mixed with a tablespoon and a quarter of pistachio flavor filling

It also depends on the brand... i love Oikos and really don't like Fage (it's a textural and taste thing).  If you like sour cream and use it like sour cream, it tastes great.  I've NOT liked it as much when mixed with sweet things, but then again, my taste for sweet things has changed since surgery and being sugar abstinent.

I use the oikos as a one-to-one replacement for sour cream in recipes, as a mayo replacement when making chicken salad, to "cream" soups and sauces, etc.
