Successing
Tomorrow is my 2 week follow up appointment with Dr. Pupkova - actually my 2 week point is Wednesday, but I will see her earlier in the week.
I wanted to share my successes thus far:
Logging my food, fluids, and protein every day.
Reaching my protein goal most days after phasing in to the total amount recommended.
Figuring out how to handle at least 3 social/family situations involving food without violating my own needs.
Recognizing a couple of eating habits that are changing post surgery - surprising myself with how ingrained mindless eating and sneak eating had become.
Wearing a dress to church today that wouldn't button a month ago.
Just today - my white capris (which were the ONLY pants I could take on vacation in June because they were the ONLY pair that fit) PULLED DOWN WITHOUT UNBUTTONING OR UNZIPPING. (So something's happening, right?)
I don't know what the scale will say, but I'm feeling REALLY good!
