UPDATE --On the "FRIEND"

I was completely blindsided by this turn of events..he is very different from the person I used to know..and so as of right now I am def on guard but hoping and praying that he has moved on and can get the help he needs. Thank you for your concern...I really do appreciate it!!!

I am sorry I did not realize you had a problem with someone like that, and feel bad that someone told you that you were asking for problems. I have had similar problems with old friends, and even some new friends. The Internet has its plusses and minuses.
I am glad you have the support of legal authorities, and that you should feel safe at work. Do not hesistate to seek more legal help should he get out of control again. Your safety is the most important thing. I hope you stay safe and that he disappears from your radar.

The whole event was just completely unexpected and it has made me quite cautious and very sad right now.....he is so different from the person I used to know..it is just heartbreaking in that regard.
I am hopeful that it is over now...but still cautious and will be very careful when I start heading back into work again.....

Hey girl.....I am glad to hear you are standing your ground. I guess I missed what was posted on the other thread. I replied to it but probably didn't read everyone elses responses.
I went through the same thing with a male friend. A this was a friend that I didn't lose touch with. We talked and hung out all the time. We had been friends for over 15 years......since middle school. And I didn't anticipate it, or invite it, or encourage it. I was thrown for a loop when it happened.
You are doing the right thing by cutting all ties. We all have enough drama and stress in our lives, there's no reason for you to have to take on more.
SMILE.........you have friends and family who love you, care about you, and aren't crazy! (well maybe they are crazy, but in a good way!) LOL

Thanx Jo!!!! I am so over the drama and the stress!!! It is seriously killing me ...I am exhausted beyond belief and now I have a huge zit and I rarely if ever break out....ugggggg........

Wow, sorry you are going thru this Laura. I never had a "stalker" before so I can't give you any advise. I see you live in Pottstown. I live in Reading so we don't live that far from each other. If you ever need anything just PM me. Good luck and I hope he leaves you alone.

Laura I am sorry you are going thru this and for someone to say you "asked" for it that someone is sick! No one asks to be treated like this and you were going by the way your former friend was when you knew him from before. Dare you to forget him is someone who seriously needs help and you are not the person to give it to him. When you leave your place of employment please make sure you are never alone have someone walk with you to your car and wait for you to leave I am not trying to make you paranoid but I had this happen years ago where the guy would wait for me and leave notes on my car and I took out a restraining order the only problem is the police have to catch them and usually by the time they get there the person is gone just don't respond to him and be careful you were honest with him from the beginning and he made what he wanted out of it so you did not ask for it. Please be careful and take care.
