******* SUNDAY ROLL CALL *********
Sunday is going to be a crazy day for me! I will finally wake up in my OWN bed - haven't been there in almost three weeks. Then I will need to run to the market, seeing as all I have in my fridge is old milk and sf pudding - not so appeitizing! Then, I will enjoy the quiet until my family returns from overnight camp in the Pocono's with all their SMELLY, DAMP laundry. What an exciting life! Tomorrow night is a birthday celebration for my nephew who just turned twelve today. The cake is going to be quite a challenge for me as the bakery they get their cakes from is my favorite! UGH!!! I will get through it too, just the anticipation of seeing it is getting to me!
I hope Sunday brings you all a nice quiet day full of happy and good things.
Have fun at the party tomorrow and remember two things....your nephew will STILL have turned 12 whether or not you eat the cake. And two...it's fillled with crack...all that white powder (flour, sugar) we are better than!
I got out of work early AGAIN. We go in waves....where people get furloughed ALL the time (like it was this week) and then we'll go months with being short staffed, so I take the opportunities when I can get 'em!
I came home and had a VERY relaxing bath with some local "milk bath salts" I bought at the farmers market. Sitting there soaking in the tub...endulged in a glass of local peach wine...listening to the rain....VERY nice. However...there were ground up rose petals in the mix and come to find out they stick ALL over the tub when you drain the water. Scrubbing the tub after a bath is fairly anti-climatic, I might add!
Anyway..at some point soon I'll go to bed. The complex did their grounds work yesterday - and I swear stood under my window for 3 hours with a weekwacker (ok...I exaggerate...but you get the point) and then when I finally was able to sleep (after they stopped) hubby decided that would be a PERFECT time to start pulling apart metal appliances in the kitchen (next to the bedroom) and banging things around to "finish cleaning them" I swear I looked like something out of a horror movie - my head was spinning around I was so peeved. That made two days in a row that sleep was an hour here and an hour there which I was sooooo not happy about.
So...THAT'S what's on the agenda today...catching up on some sleep. I probably won't sleep the WHOLE time before work (that would be almost 12 hours straight which I never do) but plan on jus****ching tv or whatever if and when I do get up.
Last shift tonight then Monday and Tuesday off! Whoo hoo!
Enjoy the muggy rainy sunday!
Pam

Well todayis fairly quiet...not really much to do. We will head to church, then come home...hubby is making breakfast and then that is it for the day. We will pretty much hang out at the house today.
I may read some of my book...but I don't know...I haven't been able to concentrate on the books with all this stuff going on with the "friend"...it wasn't over yesterday either...more stuff came but I am hopeful that it is over now...because I got a final sounding email last night and nothing else has come since....But we shall see...
Barry thinks that the "friend" has a game he wants to play and its not over yet....I feel like I have been mind F%$#ed (Excuse my language) and am exhausted. Barry says if it is over then that is good...but he has a feeling its not and usually Barry is right about these things.....ugggggh
So mostly I will spend today at home with the family and try not to dwell on what seems like the inevitable...
Hope everyone enjoys this most HUMID Sunday!!! (Already my hair is in SUPER CURLY MODE)
Much luv!!

You are definitely the traveler. Good for you. The bakery you have trouble resisting wouldn't be Stock's, would it? I can't resist their stuff.
Anywho, I have to get my butt in gear and get ready for work at the hospital. I have today and tomorrow, then I get ready for my trip to Michigan. I have present to pack and clothes to pack and groceries to pack, as I will be helping my daughter with some of the cooking once her big boy is born. I am planning some meals I can get bargains here for now, because their local IGA is pricey and the nearest reasonable grocery store is 30-40 minutes away. They live in a small rural community about a half hour from East Lansing.
Anywho, after work tonight I must get to the pool. I couldn't get there last night because I was too caught up in the Phillies game. Today's game is earlier. After that, it is crochet time. I am not even halfway done my grandson's baby blanket, which is supposed to be a crib size blanket.
Have a great day.

Steffi - Just remember how crappy that cake would make you feel - you'd miss the rest of the party because you would be home sick hugging the toilet! NOT fun. HAve a great time at the party and enjoy being with your family!
As for me today, we have some yard work to do - Chris is going to mow the grass, I have to plant my zinnias. I also have to prep my food for the week and finish cleaning the kitchen before my grandparents stop over.
Have a great day all!
Nothing too exciting today. Going for a run this morning and then spending the rest of the day with my son. We'll probably watch those red hot Phillies this afternoon and then whatever he wants to do. He usually goes home on Sunday's but since it's the summer he may stay overnight again.
Outside of that the only other thing I want to get done today is expanding my job search beyond this general area. I'm thinking I may be forced to find something where I can reach by Amtrak. Right now my search is narrowed to the business route 30 area because I have a suspended license and rely on public transportation (bus). I'm curious to see what other opportunities pop up when I broaden my search.

We ended up having lunch at Phillip's Express. I got a shrimp and crab wrap (well the insides of it, anyway) It was good, but not what I was looking forward to. There wasn't even any old bay in it. Oh well, I said I wanted crab and I got it. For dinner we just ate at the aquarium. I got a chef salad and ate all the protein out of it with a little bit of the lettuce.
Today, my plan was to hit the gym and then relax by the pool. Looks like I can get to the gym but the rain will probably keep me from the pool unless it stops by this afternoon. So, I have no real plans today.
ETA: looks like the rain is going to come whether I like it or not, so we are going to the hospital to visit my dad---step mom said he is starting to sound like his normal self today, so it will be a good day to bring Siehara. Then, as long as Siehara's attitude is in check we will do some window shopping at the mall. She needs clothes, unfortunately, I don't have money to spend on any right now. Maybe I can get her a few things at Penney's and put it on my credit card. I hate to do that, but she really needs stuff. G-d I need another job
Hope everyone has a great day.
Having a tough time getting moving this morning. We were at a party last night and didn't get home til 11:30....that's late for me...haha. But the party had some super cool fireworks, so it was worth it.
Today I'm going to try (again) to get my place straightened up. It's such a mess. I also need to get into my closet and start bagging up some things for Good Will. I'm moving in December and although it's 4+ months away, time will go fast. I need to start getting rid of things.
Pam - I know what you mean about the landscapers. I swear...every time I have a day off, that is the day that they are mowing and weed whacking the complex. And they start early !
Hope everyone has a nice day !

well, I have been awake off and on since 4am, stupid legs... but the chiropractic adjustment might of helped some... but I think the fact I am fighting a virus and a sinus infection at the same time was more the issue of not sleeping... kept getting hot and then cold... ugh if that is what "the change" is going to be like Jeremy is going to have to sleep in another room so I can crank the AC in ours lol...
So before Lore woke up I ran to Wal-Mart and Target (cheer new target by me open :) Ugh I hate running around like that at 8am on a weekend lol... but i got another storage bin for Lore's old clothes and some more storage bins for her toys for the bookshelf...
But, OMG when did the cost of dressers get to be so much at walmart and target lol... so, I thought that I could "build" a dresser of sorts out of closet maid pieces in the baby's closet... omg that was crazy too... so if anyone has a dresser they don't want I need one for the baby lol...
But, I need to get the baby's HUGE carseat into the minivan to let it air out and get Lore used to seeing it around... pull out Lore's old clothes out the little attic space to see what I can use for this baby... and clean the living room and our bedroom...
But, first going to finish watching Kings... I really hoped they would of picked this up for the fall but it doesn't look it... stupid networks don't know what good tv anymore...
