Need your help, question

HI Everyone,

I am having a pain in my left side. It is not so much a pain as an annoyance. It seems to hurt only when I am eating or drinking. Of course, it is worrying me.

Have any of you ever had this? If I had a blockage, it would really hurt, not just be annoying, right??

Also are you getting all of your fluids? Any nausea, vomiting, diarreah?

From what I have heard a blockage is immense pain - like take me to the ER now kind of thing!

It doesn't sound like a blockage.  The pain is normally there MOST of the time (if not all of the time) and you end up vomiting and what not.  Been there, done that, got the hospital gown - never want to do it again!  LOL

I would definately call Dr. P anyway - just in case.  And, she'll want to know about it regardless.

Same here. It was so bad once, i considered going to the ER but after a BM, it was much better.
Had it again last night , not as bad and again, after a BM it went away. Both times I noticed on my food journal that had only taken in less than 50 ounces of water.
