****Wednesday Roll Call****
Good Morning everyone!
I am happy today. Got word that I can have Aug. 3rd off, undies were on right, remembered my meds, and got my coffee!
I am doing surprisingly well on the 5DPT and feeling pretty good. Guess all those carbs I normally eat make me feel bloated and blah cause I generally feel so much better this morning.
I work till 3:30, then home to finish up a load of wash, make fish for dinner and then off to bowling with my sister.

I'm at work for the day - freezing right now - but its not just me - everybody is complaining that its too cold in here. BRRRR.
Worked out last night, walked the dog, watered the plants - no bike ride, tho - my knee sort of warned me after my walk that I had had enough for one night, so I passed on my bike ride. Maybe tonight hubby will go for a ride with me since the Phillies won't be on.
Other than that not much new - my mom was feeling better when we got home last night so that was good - chemo is dragging her down but the nauseau seems to have passed. She goes for bloodwork tomorrow to see how she's doing in that area. If all is good she'll get one more treatment on Aug 6, then go for a pet scan, cat scan and mri to see if the chemo is being effective.
Other than that not much new in my life right now. Hope everyone has a great day.

Thank you for everything...funny thing is she doesn't feel bad from the cancer, just from the treatments. We know its not going to go away, but if the treatments can slow it down and give her more time and quality then its worth it. We're taking things one day at a time...

I understand. The treatments completely exhausted my dad. We were back and forth with treatments for over 2 years. He took it as long as he could. He was a stong and proud man and it wasn't always easy. Not for any of us.

I'm well but BORED at work today, and I HATE being bored. One can only surf the internet for so long. Nothing exciting on my agenda today or tomorrow or Friday for that matter. Just rolling along here waiting for the weekend. I love weekends.

Morning all!
I was at the concert last night - and it was AWESOME! A little snafu which didn't bother me (but it did my parents) the tickets said "gates open 5:30, show 6:39" well...we got there bout 5:45...OPENING band came on at SEVEN and Paul wasn't scheduled till 9p. He played for a solid 2 1/2 hours though, and was very very good. Lots of beatles stuff...some wings stuff...and then some of his new stuff.
My fathers garmin got us lost coming home...so it was 1am before we reached their house...didn't get till bed till after 2a...was up by 8:30...left their house by 9:30...made a few quick errands and now chilling back at my house.
On the rest of the agenda is Brian's oral surgery consult at 2p (hence why I am home), making a dinner of some sort and hopefully some sort of nap...and then back to jersey need to be on the road by 8:30p as they are doing night construction on 78 and it takes me FOREVER to get there in the evening these days. Working there 11p-7a and then back to my parents house to sleep and work again tomorrow night. Was supposed to just spend the three days (tuesday night - early friday morning) but due to Brian's appointment am doing the back and forth thing. Se la vie! It's not that bad of a drive....
So that's it from me.
I'm gonna try to figure out a way to get photos I took on my phone last night and see if they are any good on the computer. If so, I'll try to post them here and/or facebook.
