I'm home at last!
I'm doing a happy dance for you! (Be thankful this is all online cause it's a scary a site, LOL)
Anyway - walking will help the gas - it's difficult to get it all out. I don't know if your surgeon allows you to take it, but I was allowed to take the chewable gas x right after surgery and now they make them in the little melt strips (like the listerine strips) so that might be an option for you.
Keep the questions coming - that's what the successing is all about and what the board is all about!!!!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Thank you, EVERYONE, for your great & supportive replies!
One funny thing that I forgot to mention...
You may remember that I was having a TON of gall bladder trouble pre-op and the surgeon said not to get it removed in May because it was too close to the WLS. Well, I must've reminded him 100 times, at appointments & when I saw him before going into surgery. Each time, he reassured me, that if he saw that it was necessary, he'd remove the gall bladder. (I even considered, briefly, writing on my belly with a marker something like "Don't forget to remove the gall bladder!"),
I got out of surgery and the first thing I ask is "DId you take out the gb?"
"No, it was fine." he said! I couldn't believe it. He thinks that all the trouble I was having was from my hiatal hernia (sp?) and that it shouldn't be a problem any longer because the bypass. Can not believe it! My brother-in-law asked me to tell him that if it kicks up next month, if he'll do it for free! Urg!
Let's hope & pray that he's right!
