Good Morning!
I did my 45 minutes on the Elliptical and will be walking a little bit in between my breaks. It's a busy day for me today. So what is everybody else doing to move today?

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I did get to Curves last night - hadn't been there for a week, then I walked the dog. Tonight I'll be riding my recumbant bike when I get home - going to try for 10 miles tonight. Then I'll walk the dog and hopefully get my bivcycle out for a little jaunt thru the neighborhood - maybe hubby will join me tonight - he got a bike and the Phils aren't on so I might have a chance!!

I will be hitting the gym later. Not sure if I will do body pump or just do my own thing. It depends on how long I am still sore from yesterday.

I'll def do at least 30 mins on either the treadmill or recumbant bike first.

Working my way back into it after a week and a half off for honeymooning, so I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and called it a day.  I'll hit the 45-minute treadmill workout tomorrow, then treadmill and weights on Friday, giving myself the weekend to recover.

Well, I finally did it.  After not stepping foot in a gym for almost nine months, I've once again joined a gym today.   My sister knows all I do all day is search jobsites and spend time at the PA CareerLink in Coatesville looking for a job.  She says to me last night "Andy, you're so miserable, you need to join a gym or something."  After informing her a gym membership would be great I told her it's just not something I can afford right now.  She immediately hands me a hundred dollar bill and says "You're going to Planet Fitness tomorrow, they're running a $99 a year membership special."  The women is something special.

Anyway, I put in an hour of free weights, a half hour on ab and back machines and an hour on the treadmill.  My old routine was similar, except this time my treadmill workout wasn't nearly as intense as I'm used to.  After all, I didn't want to be the new guy at the gym that dropped dead on the treadmill.  I started out with 20 minutes at 5.0 incline and 3.5 mph, then went the next 20 at 10.0 and 4.0 then finished the last 20 at 15.0 and 4.3.  In the end I wound up burning 1050 calories and put in 4.1 miles.  Naturally I sweated like a pig, especially considering I was wearing sweats, a hoodie, sauna suit and 10 pound ankle weights.  I don't think the lady on the machine next to me appreciate the nonstop stream of perspiration landing on her treadmill.  Oh well, I only know one way and that's all out.  I felt absolutely great when I was done, not lightheaded or dizzy whatsoever.  I'm looking forward to tomorrow and I hope to be up to my normal routine within a couple of weeks.
