Chicken Bake Recipe

So I printed the recipe that Lisa posted the other day for the spinach chicken bake recipe and gave it to he hubby (Cause you all know I can't cook worth a darn...LOL)

So he took the recipe and tweaked it a little to fit his cooking style and I thought I would share what he did.....

Barry took the chicken breasts and pounded them down thin and then he put the spinach and the cheeses inside the chicken breast and rolled it up like a roulade or even like a Chicken Cordon Bleu and baked it that way instead of making the casserole version....

OMG!!! SOOOOO GOOOD!!!! It was a pretty easy and quick fancy Sunday night  dinner and it tasted sooo good.

Next time Barry makes it he wants to try to make it with Ricotta instead of parmesan and fresh garlic instead of powder just to kick it up a notch.  I think it sounds like it would taste awesome either way!!!

So I just wanted to post this to give you some ideas on how to tweak some of the really good recipes everyone has on here!!!!  Barry and I really liked this one alot!!!!!!

Have a great night!!!

Much luv!!

Sounds great!!  I don't think I am talented or patient enough to try to roll anything up into the chicken, but I'm sure it tasted really good.

Glad it worked out!

Sounds good!  I think the ricotta AND parmesean would taste really great!  And if he really wants to get creative...some roasted fresh garlic would probably be divine as well :)

That sounds great!

My kids like different things. One like the chicken cordon bleu, one likes bacon and cheese. I could pound them out.....have different ingredients out.....and let everyone make thier own version of the rolled up chicken. Then everyone would be happy and I can try the spinich thing. Yummy!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Hi,

Can you give the link to or reprint the original recipe.  I would love to try your spin on it.

Thanks.
