I LOVE SF Rita's. I've sent them an email trying to get them to make a NSA custard, but I just got a canned reply about product improvement in the future. Maybe some day I can have a gelati, but in the mean time, I take Mary's advice and bring the ice home and layer with SF cool whip.. pretty good!

some locations do have sugar free custard... when I asked at my local one the owner said he has to have 2 machines... one for the sugar one... one sugar free... he said he hoped to have one next year... he said that rita's corp is really pushing for more healthly stuff... but since it is franchised... the owner said he has to wait till he has the money to do it... but it is his goal one day...

Ritas was my savior when we were down the shore and I saw all of the stuff the boardwalk and such had to offer and thank goodness there was a SF Rita's water ice.

Yep - they are VERY good! Whoever said the sugar alcohols can get you are right. Generally I don't have a problem with them....but every once in a blue moon they do!

My personal fav is the sf root beer....

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

SF Rita's is stacked up in my freezer! The pineapple, pink lemonade, peach-mango and root beer are my fav flavors!!! If you like something and they don't have it, u can request your flavor and they will make it for you the next day!
