Back from Dr. Brader and...
I am OK and so is my band and port.
The area that was red, hard and swollen on Thursday/Friday is no longer red, hard or swollen. There is a small brown bubble bump that could be some kind of absess but it's not a concern right now. My blood pressure was out-of-control high! I think from the nerves, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest.
If the area does get red again, I am to call (not email) so he can do a scope and then we will go from there. Basically, the band would have to come out, he would fix my stomach and then after a rest period we would discuss my options. I told him I didn't want options - I want my piece of plastic : )
I go back out before school starts. So, that's it in a nutshell. Hope everyone is having a great day!

How are you? Thanks for the well wishes, just a little blip on the radar, no biggie really. My ride with my band has been relatively uneventful and that is the way I would like to keep it!

Things are going well...I am completely satisfied with my decision to get banded...I am still not feeling the restriction...but I have only had one 2cc fill. My next fill is next week. I am already, with only about 30 pounds down, off my Blood pressure medicine and I have enjoyed getting back to my exercise program..helps with the inches AND the stress levels. Hop you are over your blip...Perhaps you can get to a LGH support group soon..Love to talk with ya again!
