Does anyone eat Lean Cuisines or Smart ones??
I'm just curious if anyone else eats them? I get ones with the most protien and least amount of fats. I watch the sodium in them to. I can't eat pasta's which is good. Because I dont want that startch. I never of course finish any of the meals.
But I am curious.. What does everyone eat and be as honest as possible. I'd like to try things.. but most of the time just end up with a few bites of chicken with a few pieces of lettuce and carrots. Or Chicken and a little bit of potatoes. Tuna with salad is another. I guess im so lost in what to eat sometimes.. And I hate having to cook out a meal from scratch since I only get to eat a little.

When I get a frozen meal, I get the South Beach ones... they are much higher in Protein (it's the very nature of the South Beach Diet) and little to no pasta/rice/potatoes. And they are pretty good too.
As for my meals, I am pretty much a creature of habit..and I have a very busy schedule and travel a good deal so meal preparation has to be simple - so here goes...
Breakfast: I eat greek yogurt with 1/2 cup of Kashi Go Lean High Protein Cereal and a small can of canned peaches in juice every morning. If I dont have time, I make a protein shake.
Lunch: I typically eat 3 ounces of reduced fat cheese w/Kellogg special K crackers and fruit or veggies. Other times I will eat fat free cottage cheese and fruit or tuna salad made with fat free cream cheese.
Dinner: I will most often eat salad with protein - my salad consists of lettuce, 3 olives, 1/2cup of cottage cheese, beets, gogi berries - whatever I like and then I add protein
The Protein can be: 1/2 can of tuna, or 2 ounces of chicken, pork, steak, or a hard boiled egg, or almonds, or grilled tofu-, or beans or whatever I am in the mood for - mix it all up - add some spray dressing and eat up. Since I interchange the proteins, it tastes different all the time.
Hope that helps...
good luck,
Lou

I eat them ... I do not eat the carbs/starch unless it is the potatos. I eat them about 3 times a week ... other than that, I eat whatever I cook for my family ... my crock pot is my world ... everything & anything you put in that thing comes out moist and very pouch friendly.
I eat lots of cheese, milk, tuna salad, egg salad & I love my deli meat sandwiches (On Arnold's sandwich Thins)....oh yeah, and pickles ;)

I tend to stay away from them because so many are too high in sugar for me, or have lots of pasta and/or rice that I can't tolerate either. I've never tried the South Beach ones - they might be okay.
Like everybody else I fall into the food rut all the time and then try to shake things up. I like sausage & egg burritos for breakfast but am trying to break that habit to get away from the carbs in the burrito, so I bought some Trader Joe's frozen crustless quiches - they come 2 to a box and have 15 gm of protein and lo fat. They're okay. For lunches I keep lo-fat lunchmeats and cheeses and sometimes just make roll-ups but sometimes I'll use the whole wheat arnold bakery rounds for a sandwich. Today I'm making my own tuna (love those 2.6 oz packets you can buy now) and brought lettuce and a hard boiled egg in for lunch. Snacks are cottage cheese, string cheese, etc.
I have to watch the carbs because I'm a crunchy/salty freak and they tend to creep into my diet too often. Of course they wouldn't if I didn't BUY them!! LOL!!
I keep Atkins protein bars on hand here at work and home - they're lo carb, lo sugar and most have about 15-17 grams of protein - I'll also do protein shakes on the weekends - usually not during the week because my pouch needs time to 'wake up' before feeding it milk.
