I did my half an hour on the Elliptical and will be walking on my Lunch. I unfortunately had to be at work early so only did half the time on my Elliptical but will watch what I put in my mouth today. So What is everyone else doing to move today??

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Was too crampy and achey to go to Curves last night so I took a long walk with the dog then a longer bike ride later. Tonight will probably be the same since I have to go by the eye doctor on the way home. Not sure if mom will feel up to getting her hair done tonight after her treatment yesterday - if she does that will cut into my bicycle time. But we'll see what happens.

I am going to do my "total gym" workout again tonight, I am trying for every other day because it leaves my arms like jello! I am also supposed to be taking it easy until I get clearance from the OB tomorrow! Can't wait for that appt! Making my list of questions now! But I digress. Total gym Workout takes me about 30 min and works your whole body, mostly arms, legs, chest and abdomen.

I have to admit that exercise still isn't something that I want to do - it is a daily fight and I usually loose... I am trying though - I am 20 pounds from Dr Brader's goal and would like to get there sooner then later. I am 2 1/2 years out and planning on being pregnant before too long (Shilpa told me that April is my month which means I need to be pregnant August - I know your right Shilpa!!!) And I don't want to push the exercise then just because I've had a miscarriage and I won't take ANY chances!

So I digress again! lol Sorry for all the info!

Liz,
I am usually never wrong on these things. Here is to you getting your clearance from your OB tomorrow. Good Luck Sweetie you will do great! I agree try to get healthy now and you will be healthy thruout your pregnancy and don't worry about going on and on. I love to hear about your updates. I agree exercising is not one of my favorite things to do everyday either but once I am done I feel so GOOD. I know it sound CRAZY who would have know. I am proud of you. You Rock that Total Gym. You Sexy Mama to be...lol.

Shilpa - I was thinking last night, I had a dream in March (the month before I got pregnant). In the dream I was getting a "prodedure" done  and the woman in the dream told me that April was my month, April 30th I find out I am pregnant, now I am thinking that was a coincidence and wasn't meant to be - I was meant to have my baby in April!

I'll keep you posted!

Woo hoo...  I did 5K this morning!  Now, granted, it took me 48 minutes, but I DID it  (actually a little OVER), and didn't stop along the way, and felt like I pushed the pace throughout.  So now it's just a matter of working on decreasing my time by increasing the number of segments I run.    Kinda like that famous Winston Churchill line "Madame, we've already established that you're a prostitute, now we're just haggling about the price."  Haha.

I also had an interesting "revelation" during the last 1k, which was that despite being tired and sweaty, i really didn't feel any worse than I did during the first half.  Hmmm.  Some interesting implications there.

Tomorrow morning I leave for FL so won't be exercising in the morning.  BUT, I'm wearing my running shoes and taking my Nike+ with me, and packing my resistance bands (much easier than packing weights - haha), and have already planned out an exercise routine for while I'm there.  Plus, all the walking in Disney is great exercise too!  And swimming in the Gulf and in my sis-in-law's pool... ahhh!

WOO HOO Karen on the 5K.  I was working on that with Siehara while she was doing it, but haven't gone back to trying since she stopped.  I need to think about that again.   Anyway, back to today... Today should be my workout with Rocco since he was sick on Tuesday.  As far as I know he won't cancel.. I'll just make sure all of our conversation leading up to our appt time is strictly professional so nobody gets weirded out.. LOL!! And no home visits today!!

I'm not sure what we are going to work on because I am a bit sore from Body Pump last night and I am going to the chiropractor right after my work out.  So, I'm thinking I should find the LEAST sore part of my body and also avoid my back to avoid injury.  I'll figure it out.

We'll see what strikes my fancy as I try to stay flexible to the clamoring of my body (it usually has a top pick that it gets excited about) and change my mental desire but:

40 minute power walk with hills
Power 90 Hawaii edition
2 Mile walk away the pounds

regards, keri
