Lurker Gets Date
Hi Everyone,
I am usually a lurker here. I have jumped thru all my hoops and am now scheduled for August 24th at St. Margarets Hostpital, in Pittsburgh, with Dr Quinlin. I am nervous because this is a band revision and I remember the first surgery... and how much fun it wasn't the first few days. However, initally I was quite successful and am looking VERY forward to being able to roll over in bed without having to get OUT of bed or chase one of my kids and catch them before they ask, "Should I call 911?"
I am going to Las Vegas for a week before the surgery and have spent literally the last month finding the best places to eat so that I can maintain the ground that I've already gained... I still have 3 weeks and I just want to go into the surgery the healthiest that I possibly can.
I admire everyone on this forum because making the decision is such a HUGE step and not without it's own trepidation.
I vow to be more present now, as I have been motivated by you in the past and will NEED the support in 6 weeks, and counting.
Connie
