I got my surgery date :-)

Good morning everyone,

Excited, well that's probably the biggest understatement I have ever made.  I finally got my surgery date yesterday, it is September 9th.  I can't wait.  Wonder if I should play a lottery that day since it is 9/9/09....lol  I am counting the days.

The only 1 thing I dont' like is that my doctor does the lapbands in the morning and the gastro's in the afternoon.  That means you have to get up and wait around all day.  I guess that should be my biggest problem.

Anyway, I am thrilled.

Congrats! Time will fly till then! I promise that. I got my date in July for September and I thought it seemed like forever.....but the time FLEW!

yay! congrats!!

My surgery was the last of the day - like 1 pm - I kept myself up as late as possible the night before so I would sleep in - especially since I couldn't eat or drink anything! AND the waiting that morning was like torture -I ended up at Barix like 2 hours early! lol better to wait there!

The time until 9/9 will fly - and it WILL be your lucky day!

I thought I was going to jump right out of my skin the day they called with my surgery date, so I know exactly how you're feeling - its so exciting and scary and crazy!! But now you have a date and can start counting down - and yes, definitely play those numbers somewhere - they have to be good luck!!
