Tuesday Excercise

Okay everybody I walked about 12 miles this morning and feel it in my calves and I am done for today. What is everybody else doing to move today??

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Every time I read your exercise posts, I feel like such a slacker even though I know I get a good workout in. 

Today is Rocco day at the gym.  So, I know that I will get about an hour of strength training in.  I may stay after and get on the treadmill, not sure yet.

It would take me 3 days to walk 12 miles!!

I'll be riding my recumbant bike tonight, long walk with the dog, then my bicycle.

Thanks! It's quite addictive.  I do other classes too but today I couldn't find any others I wanted to do, so Zumba it is! Again!

Total Gym workout for however long it takes me - didn't get to it yesterday ended up having to do some errands, see Pam and then Beck group. Today I have no plans!

I did my 2 miles in 29:09 minutes this morning... in fact, my average pace was about 14:25, which is faster than I've ever done it!  Woo hoo...  That's 327 cals.

Now the plan is that Thursday I'm doing 3 miles... pace will undoubtedly be lower overall, but it's a stretch in distance.  I'm liking the whole nike+ training thing and the feedback it gives throughout the workout - I can see my pace at any point and figure out if i'm starting to slow down.

I'm really starting to try and work up to a 5K.  Scary stuff!!!

going to the gym again after work today. 

Doing 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes of weight training (arms, back & abs).
