Endo update
Well, I got back from my endoscopy this morning. Dr. Haluszka was able to get "way" into the small intestine and clearly inspect the area that concerned Dr. Pupkova. He found nothing to be concerned with at all. I'm assuming (will know when Dr. P sees the report) that this means I have a clean bill of health! yay!
I was SOOOO woozy when I left the hospital and was really sick when I got home (first time I've thrown up since sugery... actually, probably the first time in about 15 years!). We had stopped on the way home and I got a little french onion soup because I felt so shaky and thought that the not eating was the problem.... wrong move! I ate about 1/4 cup at most and that was all that was going in. napped for a couple of hours after I got home and now I feel fine, just tired. I think it was the drugs that did that to me.
Whatever. I'm grateful for the good news!

Whooo hooo!!!! So glad the preliminary report is all good!
Sorry the drugs made you feel so awful - definately all sounds like common side effects of anesthesia and twilight anesthesia type drugs. You should be feeling much better by morning!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I'm kinda torn on that question, frankly. I feel like I'm doing really well now (and would have to wait 6 months anyway, per Dr. P, for healing)... but the other part of me kinda wants the "no way out" option to prevent relapses in the future. And then part of me recognizes that that's negative thinking and so on... so back and forth. Sigh.
Thanks for the good wishes!
