Hi all,

Sorry I skipped out especially as we were really getting into everything and what not.  Brian is having some dental issues and it was not going well despite medications....long story short he needed some nursing care....which only worked for about 3 hours anyway....even longer story we ended up only sleeping from 11p till 2a and then by 5 was in the ER for a myriad of reasons...he's sleeping now and I'll be making phone calls to dentists/oral surgeons/endodontists this morning and he's probably got a long road ahead of him.

Anyway - I'll be in touch via email w/ nicole next week as I am working 7p both sunday and monday night so won't be able to get online for the chat at all next week.

Hope the rest of it went well.  Let's "pull up our big girl panties" (or super bras...) and get this moving!

Good luck to Brian - I'll send Chris up if you need an enforcer! lol

All the best to Brian as he overcomes all things dental.

I still don't know how you nurses can manage the late shifts.

I am really excited about the support  ... and I am also hearing the voice... 'What are you feeling?"

This one is easy - the thought was "dammit I want to be back in bed and NOT go to my place of work at 4 am when I am off" ROFLMAO  The feeling was "I'm tired"  I did have the sense of mind to pack a bottle of crystal lite before we left the house.  Just no food, LOL

Hope everything goes ok with Brian.. dental problems suck!

I use Gentle Dental in Allentown for my periodontal issues and had a good experience with Dr. Kingston, oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth.  I am not familiar with any endodontists.

Thanks for the info, Lisa.

Right now I found "Gentle Family Dentistry" which have offices in bethlehem and allentown.  They have oral surgery on site as well along with crowns, bridges, root canals, and regular dentist type office stuff.

I just got a phone call back from them and they will see him at 2:45 TODAY in their bethlehem office (they have one in allentown as well, but I'm not sure where...maybe the same group you were talking about?) as an emergency patient.  This will get him x rays, pain meds (if needed but we have them from the er) and a plan of care. Plus they work with my insurance so that's always a plus, although a lot of it will be out of pocket, I'm sure.

I will keep these numbers handy just in case I need somewhere else to go!
