Good Morning All!! some of us are a part of Nicole's Beck Group chat on monday nights and we are going to try something new - in the evening we are going to post what we actually ate for the day and see if we can pinpoint the thought that got us there.

Here is my plan as of 6:30 this morning

B: bulgar wheat "pudding" (similar to oatmeal custard)
S: cheddar cheese and a few crackers
L: grilled veggie and chicken salad with a vinigarette (no mayo)
S: chocolate pudding made with soy milk
D: something with ground beef and mushrooms
S: peach pie

ETA - I ended up with having a taco salad for dinner. 95% lean ground beef, lowfat cheese, sour cream, lettuce, onions and 6 multigrain tortilla chips

I am going to edit my response throughout the day - it really worked out better for me that way and I stuck to it.  I know this is not a good "plan" but it worked yesterday.

pre-workout:  protein shake
workout:  30 arc trainer/weights
B:  banana
S:  grapes
L:  Asain pear and 2 laughing cow cheese wheels
S:  yogurt and fiber one cereal
D:  chicken, cold bean salad, sugar free orange fluffy stuff

a lot of water again today because my headache is gone and I am sure it was because I was not drinking enough water

Well I don't typically have too much time to post in the evenings. So here's the plan. I usually stick to it other than maybe a snack change. Breakfast is TERRIBLE today. I forgot mine at home so am eating a small piece of leftover pizza that is here at work. So NO CARBS the rest of the day for me!!!

B: small piece of pepperoni pizza
S: none
L: Pork Chop
S: 2 mozzarella sticks
D: Grilled Chicken & Cheese
S: More cheese!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

That sounds like a good idea, Liz - my plan does change sometimes thru-out the day - mostly my snacks, tho, so I'm trying to watch that and am going to pick up some 'healthier' stuff today at Walmart. Here's my plan for the day.

B: Sausage & egg burrito
S: Laughing cow cheese on ww Ritz crackers
L: Ham & cheese roll-ups; sf pudding
S: Greek yogurt w/sf jelly or cheesesticks
D: Some type of crockpot meal but not sure what since mom is cooking
S: Nuts

E: Recumbant bike; walk the dog; ride my bicycle

ok well here's what I have done and plan on doing....

My day did not start out great considering it started off at 2am and included the trip to the ER.  On the way home I will admit I stopped at McDonalds because at that point I was shaking and dizzy from not eating and being up for so long.  I can HONESTLY say it had NOTHING to do with emotion and had more to do with I need something to eat now.  I ate the egg off an egg mcmuffin sandwich.  No english muffin no meat.

Things I plan on eating today:

String cheese
1/2 of a large home made Cheeseburger, no bun
Greek yogurt

What I plan on packing for work

Greek yogurt x 2
string cheese
PB&J on pepperidge farm flat bread thing
The other 1/2 of the cheeseburger

I will edit this tomorrow morning and also come up with a game plan of eating for tomorrow as well.

My plan:

B -- 1/2 c all bran, 6 oz sf ff yougurt, 1/4 c ff cottage cheese
S -- protein shake  (skim plus milk and choc whey protein)
L --
S--
D--
S--

I just realized... I don't have  a plan after mid morning.... need to work on that.

I finished my plan and added:

L -  chicken and salad greens
S - sf ff yogurt
D -- hamburger with mustard and relish, salad greens
S -- 1 cup skim plus milk with sugar free nestle quik

and, I plan to crochet to keep my fingers and mind busy after dinner! I'm working from home today so I won't have the 'car' problem!

---

Here's what actually happened:
B -- 1/2 c all bran, 6 oz sf ff yougurt, 1/4 c ff cottage cheese
S -- protein shake  (skim plus milk and choc whey protein)
L -  chicken and salad greens
----unplanned   24 pretzel squares (getting ready to take hubby for follow up with doctor
---unplanned   3 'fun size' chocolates at Dr. office
S-- sf ff yogurt

-- unplanned... in car with hubby --stopped a farmerm market....dill pickle
D -- hamburger with onian, ketchup and relish, portobello mushroom
S -- 1 cup skim plus milk with sugar free nestle quik

I've got some notes as to what was going through my head when I realized the unplanned items.  overall anxiety/uncertainty about the doctor visit resulted int he pretzels.  chocolates -- cause they were on the desk in full view.
Dill Pickle...Tim and I were in a deep discussion about life now that his radiation over.

Have a plan in the place for the whole day..go ahead and write it down. Give it substance by putting it out there.
Then at the end of the day post or write what you did eat and compare.....
