Hello Everyone :)

I've been on here a few times. But never stuck my head in the forums and chatted. I've been a part of another forum, but felt it was time to find closer friends of the WLS. :) 

I am 4 months out and right under 100lbs lost. It's the best decision I made doing this.. I was 386lbs and now I am 288. Went from a size 38w to a 28w top and 26/24 pants.

I would like to try to eventually start hanging out with/meeting new people from the area that have gone through or are thinking of going through the process.

I am from Lansdale.. Montgomery County. About 20 minutes outside of philadelphia. What side of PA are you on?

i know where that is...im from wilkes barre....i go to hershey for my appointments

Okay I drive up to  past hazelton to my parents vacation trailor in Nesquipek or however you spell it lol

wilkes is like a 2 hour drive for me.

How do I add my location to under my avatar. I tried finding it to edit it.

Congrats on the almost 100 lbs lost! I'm not too far from you - Easton PA - I have a cooking class / support group once a month at my house, next one is August 29th - I'll post more details shortly!

Hi and Welcome to the PA Forum,
I am Trish and I had my RNY a little under 3 years ago.  This is a terrific forum.  There are all sorts of people who get together in this part of the state, and you will make friends fast.  Liz has a cooking class that I would someday like to attend, and she is in the Bethlehem area, I think.  
I hope you will join in the discussions and get involved.  PA has a lot of love to give and receive.

welcome to the best board around!! I am in Whitehall right near the Lehigh Valley Mall.  You have a ton of support around you.   This is the best bunch of people for surgery and non-surgery related support!
