Also take body measurements.  This will be the greatest tool for you because there will be weeks in the future when you won't drop a pound but could lose 10 inches all over.

I measure these places: neck, wrist, upper arm, fore arm, bra band (rib cage), boobs (center of them), waist, hips, upper thighs, calves.  I would also go into jewelry stores and have them measure my ring fingers.  One month I went from a 8 to a 6 in ring sizes... also you will notice your width of your shoes get looser.  Even on me a narrow they got huge width wise.  Some weeks I lost in strange places like fingers and feet, other more normal.  After 6 months start doing the measuring once a month.
