go to teh SPCA and ask for a "killer" cat! lol those ultrasonic things work great. Have hubby set lots of traps (of course where the kids can't get at them) and keep after crumbs - they'll go away! I HATE mice too!

we've already got the traps set, but my understanding is that once they set up home in yours you aint getting rid of them (apparently they have on average 13 litters a year per female!!!!) OMG!!!!

According to Scott the basement is "swarming" with them.

OMG OMG OMG!

As for a cat, A. My dog will eat the cat and B. Cats like to bring you dead mice as presents - no THANKS!

OMG OMG OMG!!

Mel..no mouse advice but would LOVE to do the pouch test too. I just don't think I have the will power to stick to it.........

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

We've  had most of God's creatures at our place in the "country" since we moved here, including a litter of mice in our basement and my all time most horrible thing....snakes .   Lots of sticky glue traps for the meeces, with a small dollop of peanut butter on each.  Put'em in every corner, the rafters and anywhere they might run over them.   It might take two days before you catch a bunch, but once they see their little dead friends they'll get the hint and leave your place.  They also sell these great little "houses" where you don't have to deal with the carcasses, they go in but don't come out, you just toss the house...they cost more but when I lived in the city and we had the same thing happen in our rowhouse when our neighbors left, I couldn't bare to see the remains back then.   Anybody have a snake remedy???

Good Luck, be brave.  You 'kin do it!

  Good morning everyone,

Work for me today. Could have used another day off (it was such beautiful weather this weekend, another day would have been nice!).

I'll pick the kids up from camp after work and then head either to the YMCA to work out, or to my basement to do a few miles on the treadmill.

My challenges for this week include working on getting my full 70 grams of protein in and making sure I do some kind of exercise each and every day! It's been too sporadic for me the past 2 weeks, so it's a priority this week!

Have a great week everyone!

Good day everyone...my day looks like this...

Working from 9a - 5p .  After work, heading to the gym to get my workout in and then heading home to walk the doggie and relax the rest of the evening.
