Sunday Exercise?
So I am never the first one to post the exercise thread and I don't know who will actually post on a Sunday, but I will!
Today I am going to attempt my first body pump class.
It is a weight lifting class that works the entire body. It is a 60 minute class using weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls combined with music. I've heard it's a great class so I'm going to give it a shot. What the hey! Sounds like fun - let us know how it goes! Obviously what you've been doing so far has been working beautifully, given how darned GREAT you looked yesterday!
I'm taking the day off from "workouts" because the body is telling me to (a bit too achy this morning). However, I'm pounding metal all day to get ready for the Rosen show, so that means a good upper-body workout (and biceps killing me, no doubt) at least. Shaped out 4 more cuff bracelets last night that need finishing and have 3 more on the bench ready to go this morning. Today's are all heavier gauge metal, so that means the heavy hammers and a lot more work.

So, I just got back from the class and I liked it! I went with very light weights for this time to be sure I was doing everything right, but I think I would be okay to up them some of the time. It was definitely a FULL body workout. Every inch of my body got some sort of workout, so that was awesome. I also did just 15 minutes on the treadmill before the class as a warm up.
I will definitely be finding time to go to Body Pump on a regular basis!
