Hello and a few questions
Hi! I am moving to Chester, WV in a month or so, and will only be 45 minutes from Pittsburg. I am in need of finding a new RNY doctor. I am 1 1/2 years out, and down 160 lbs.
If you are in the area, and have any information that you would like to share with me, please feel free to post away, or pm me.
Also, if there are any support groups in the area, I would love to know more about them as well.
Thanks! I look forward to hearing from everyone!

At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Hi LaChelle,
I am looking to have RNY done possibly at Magee or West Penn. I have heard positive things about Magee and West Penn. I am hearing more feedback on Magee. There is a cooking/support group in Western PA. I am waiting to hear more details myself.
Congratulations on your weight loss!!
Dianna

Hello!
Welcome!
I'm in the Pittsburgh area and am having my surgery at St. Margarets on 7/20. It's a part of UPMC (University of Pgh Medical Centers - most hospitals around here are linked with them). It's not right in the city, the way Magee and West Penn are. I hate driving in the city and so does my family. The surgeons at St. Margarets are top rate and it is a "Center of Excellence" (as I believe is Magee). My PCP recommended either Magee or St. Margarets. They also have a very comprehensive program, with a Nutritionist, support groups & the whole 9 yards. So far, I couldn't be more pleased and I am hearing lots of great stories about them.
I'm sure any of the Pgh. bariatric doctors will be happy to have you as a patient :-)
Congratulations on your continued success! Let us know when you get settled in!
Feel free to ask me, if you need more information!
Pat
