6 month visit

I am in onederland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am at 193.2 pounds and I am thrilled beyond words.  I have lost about 81 pounds and feel 100% better.  I am officially off my meds for my diabetes.  Craig is down 113 pound, he is at 260 and is also thrilled.  He is off of his high blood pressure meds also.  I do have an ulcer though .  

Our 7 year anniversary is next month and I think we are going to go to a theme park to celebrate our new bodies.  We have not been able to ride rides in so long it will be nice to do something we have always wanted to, but to big to do.

We are both just so happy and glad that we made the decision to have the surgery!

Congratulations!  I remember all too well how wonderful it felt to fall below the 200 lb. mark!  The numbers are great, but what sounds really wonderful is that you are off meds and feel better.  That's tough about the ulcer, but I believe you should be able to manage it with medication. 

So congrats on yours' and your husbands' healthier life and may you celebrate many more anniversaries!

Congratulations to your and Craig on your amazing success so far - and only more wonderful times to come!! It sounds like you're great support for each other - so yeah, go to that theme park and ride every ride you can! My daughter and granddaughters are coming in for a visit in August and the middle girl, Keali, has finally gotten over her fear of rollercoasters and loves them now, so I promised her I'd strap in beside her and we'd go for a ride!!

Take care of the ulcer - and yourselves - and enjoy the new 'yous'!

WHOO HOO !!!! Way to go, work it girl. Congratulations to both you and your husband. I had an ulcer too, but I am almost weaned off the medicine now. There is light at the end of that tunnel. I am sure you pouch will be feeling better soon. Belinda
