***TGIF Roll Call***
Good Morning Everyone,
I am up early in spite of having gotten to bed late last night. I was at the Phillies game and saw the win and the fireworks afterward. Awesome time.
Today has me heading to the bank, some shopping and then on the train to New York where my son and I will be jumping in his car to head to Cooperstown for the weekend. We are heading to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Hi everyone,
I am new to OH. Sorry I don't have a pic on yet. I have'nt been able to uplad any photos yet because they are larger than 20k. (Help!!)
I am from Pittsburgh, PA (home of the Champion Steelers and Penquins).
Would like to get some feedback on how you all selected your surgeon. I have an appointment at the end of this month with one that has all good feedback, but I am seeing alot more feedback and recent surgeries drom a different office. The location of the latter is a lot closer..........
I appreciate any advise..

Welcome! (even though you are a steelers fan! ) LOL.
I don't have any suggestions, as I live hours from you. But I would go out on a limb and say that both are great places if you have heard feedback about both. I would say it's important to feel comfortable with the doc, staff, and facility. You will need to rely on them to anser questions and care for you so make sure your "gut" feeling is a good one.

I honestly just went with someone who a coworker used. I didn't really do a lot of research because she had worked for him before. I trusted him because she did.
There are a bunch of people on here from your part of PA, so I'm sure someone will be able to help you. I would stay closer if you can, so there is no excuse for missing appointments. And also, so you can get there quick in a potential emergency.

As far as picking a surgeon...I did a lot of research on the facilities in my area....and then ended up traveling to one about 1 1/2 hours away from me because I liked their statistics, follow up care, etc. Once I met with the doctor, I KNEW she was what I wanted.

I am at work today until 4... down 2 people today so it should be interesting! After work it is home to prep for cooking class tomorrow! Can't wait - there are some super yummy things on the menu! Looking forward to a day with great friends, and some new faces from OH that I haven't met in person yet!
