****Thursday Roll Call****
Good Morning Beautiful People,
I woke up with a leg cramp and decided to check in here and see how you all are doing.
Thursday is a busy day for me. I must get to my AA meeting, and then walk the pooch. After that, I am going to be tearing up my bedroom and getting my clothes organized. Somewhere in there I will also be getting my allergy shot and taking a swim.
This afternoon, I am taking Utley to my sister's to spend a few days because I am going to Cooperstown, NY on Friday.
Then, tonight, I am heading to the Phillies game, with my sis-in-law and nephew, and people from my church.

Good morning Trish and PA. First I want to thank all of you for helping make my birthday yesterday special. Siehara really made me feel special yesterday, too. She made me breakfast, gave me a friendship bracelet and a handmade card and then at night she wanted to do a spa night with me. ALL HER IDEA-- she painted my nails and did my make up. There are a couple of pics on facebook. The makeup is a bit dark, but who cares. When your 10 year old is requesting time alone with you to do special stuff, it doesn't matter, right?!! Afterward, she asked if we could do it again and do each others. OF COURSE WE CAN!
Today has me off from work again! WOO HOO!!! I'm so glad I took these days off for myself!
I will drop Siehara off at camp and then I have to take my car for a tune-up. Rocco sent me to Autozone last night to find out exactly what is wrong with my car that is causing my engine light to come on to be sure that the mechanics don't try to take advantage of me at the shop. The code was very vague, so he told me the basics that I should do now to avoid spending too much money. It's nice that he is back to being the nice guy that he is and that he's looking out for me.
After the car is done, I have no real plans until after I get Siehara. I was thinking about taking a walk down the path near the creek by my apartment and then hanging out at the pool for a few hours. We'll see how that plan goes.
I have to pick Siehara up from camp around 3:30 and then come home for dinner. I am going to make burgers on the grill or meatloaf..probably burgers. I haven't used my grill yet and it's getting dusty. After dinner, Siehara has her therapy appointment at Kids Peace. She has only had 1"official" appointment there, but I have already seen a big change in her. I actually saw a change in her before she had that appointment. I am thinking that she was just testing the waters that are called Mom doesn't have a backup adult anymore. We no longer have screaming battles every day and the back talk has been reduced to a minimum. Things are really looking up around here! YAY!!!
That's about it for me for today. I'm looking forward to tomorrow, too. I will be meeting my college roommate for lunch. I haven't seen her since before the surgery so it will be nice to hear her reaction. We are going to PF Changs. I've never been there before, so any suggestions for food choices? I am not eating any carbs. I was thinking the Ahi Tuna appetizer. Let me know!

Glad you had a great day.....it's great when your kids can help make your day special.
And glad things are going well with her. My oldest son has been going to therapy since december and I don't think he is getting much out of it. I am not sure what to do about it either.....but I understand the issues you have had with your daughter!

Good Morning All! Another beautiful day! I am feeling a bit crummy this morning so I am going to take it easy. Working till 4 then I want to run into Michaels - STILL searching for a picture for over my bed. When I get home it's just dinner and relaxing. I need another night of getting to bed at a decent hour.
