***Wednesday Roll Call***
Had a nice evening last night - took an extra long walk with the dog then rode my bicycle for almost 30 minutes - did between 4-5 miles according to my calculations around the neighborhood. I can go farther on the recumbant but then again I'm not pushing my fat arse around on that!! It was a fantastic ride, tho, and saw lots of neighbors out walking. Its my 'me' time to decompress and de-stress.
Tonight I'll be hitting Curves after work, then walking the dog and possibly getting a ride in on my bicycle - it won't be as long or as intense tonight, tho. My legs are begging for a rest.
Oh, and today is my daughter's birthday and my oldest granddaughter, Lacee! Lacee is turning Sweet 16 today - I sent her a text msg at 7:30 (4:30 her time in Seattle) - bet she got it because the child never turns that cell phone off - that'll teach her!! Can't wait to see them...I miss them so much.
I rarely chime in on the roll call.. no particular reason, just enjoy reading everyone else's I suppose. I am going to try and be more proactive about it though. The past few days have me feeling completely and totaly exhausted and listless. I am usually a little ball of energy but all I want to do since Sunday is sleep... I've had a few restless nights that I think are to blame. I even skipped the gym last night and feel terrible about it.
BUT... today is a new day! I feel like I am loosing focus with my eating plan and am beyond frustrated with myself... so I will attempt to jump back on that track today.
I was at work by 7:30, had my SF Red bull (it's my one vice I just CAN'T give up). Work today has me reading a lot of boring specifications for a bid we are putting together to renovate a very cool old apartment building in the Germantown section of Philly... I will certainly busting my butt on this project since the bid is due in a week. I get off of work at 4:30 and will get my booty to the gym tonight if it kills me for the 6:45 spin class! And the highlight of my day... laundry!! (I hope you can sense the sarcasm). My own personal hell would be having to do laundry day in and day out.
Happy Birthday Lisa! Enjoy your day everyone!!!!
Back on track... and enjoying the ride
What I really WANT to do today is go horseback riding. I haven't been riding since I was about 14...I don't know of any places around here that does it, but I'm sure I could find somewhere. If not, maybe hubby and I will go bowling.
Nothing exciting, though!

Finally got Wii Fit and did my first work out on it last night- I loved it!
Today I work 1/2 day then head downtown for my 2 month f/u with my surgeon.
Hopefully they will be on time and I will get home with time to spare- maybe go to the pool for a bit.
Later tonight I am meeting a friend for dinner. We are planning a trip to Gettysburg to do all the "ghost tours" around Halloween!
Have a great day!
