Cool - so now you have to tell the rest of us how to prepare it!  (I've always been unsure whether it's one that needs to be "cracked and peeled" like a butternut or what...)  And post recipes, please?

Thanks,
Karen

Yes, please tell the rest of us what to do with it... I belong to the Farmer's Cooperative and they have given us PattyPan for the last two weeks and I don't know what to do with it
thanks,
Lou

Which Farmer's Co-Op do you belong to? I've been thinking about joining one but have no idea where to even begin.
... I trust my soul, my only goal is just to be.

Sorry for the late reply, I don't always read my emails as often as I should
The farmers co-op I belong to is called the Penn's Corner Farm Alliance and the website is
www.pennscorner.com

Its really great, I am forced to learn about and eat all different kinds of veggies.

woohooo!! anytime!! I would have even UPSd them up! lol

I think you can just sautee them with garlic and onions right? The baby ones you can eat the skin on. Honestly I've never had them! I might have to get some for myself at Wegmans tomorrow

LOL.. Ive been in pattypan heaven the past fwe hours. Dinner for me was nothing but pattypan .lol..

We cook it on the grill. I put it in foil and put some olive oil on it.. just a few drizzles and then I put salt and pepper on it to taste. I love it like that.. Its simple and so good!!!
