OT - Hotel/Motel suggestions??

sounds great but I need the ocean! lol

I have no suggestions but have fun!! I had a vacation planned to the ocean July 18-25th to Ocean City, MD! That is my all time favorite spot to go to the beach. I love that place and my family would go there every summer and we still do. However I am very sad because this year I cannot go..I just had surgery for one and two I have a follow up appt that week...how nice. So that ruins my vacation this year...I am very sad and hurt and everyone talking about going on vacation makes me cry And I am being serious...my parents talk about going to the beach or my sister because they are going to OC MD that same week I was suppose to with the rest of my family and I start tearing up because I want to go so dang bad...sucks..I hate emotions right now. I have been crying over everything.

awww - can't you schedule your appt on say monday morning and go on your way to OC, MD?? We've been there a bunch of times too -awesome!

Post-op emotions are a pain in the butt!

I spent my youth surfing the east coast and I just can`t get into shore points with high-rise condos and multi-lane crazy streets running parallel to the beach block.
 
Liz you`re missing the beach. Wife called and tourist traffic seems down and it`s 80 with a slight ocean breeze. Tonight they head to Point Pleasant and Spikes Seafood Shack and the freshest (were in the ocean today) seafood on the island.

I so wish I was there!!! I was just outside and the breeze for a second felt like the ocean! *sigh* and I am in an office with no windows now....
