Manic Monday Roll Call
Morning everyone! I have the day off and am still deciding what to do with it. I am throwing around the idea of taking the dogs hiking up Misery Mountain at Valley Forge. I know that if it is too tough, the dogs will pull my butt the rest of the way :) Or, I may be surprised and have to pull them up the rest of the way. I could also clean, mow the lawn, do some laundry, go to karate, go to the gym and/or go see a movie.
Had a great weekend full of cook outs, fireworks and hanging out with friends. Tomorrow I have to head back down to Baltimore for work, so I won't actually get back to the office until Wednesday.

Norm - Congratulations to you and Mary. I wish you all the best !
Today has me back at work for my first full day since surgery. I'm actually chugging along pretty nicely. Got up early and was here before 7:00. That makes it a 3:00pm quitting time. Then it's home to rest a bit and then I'll head out to the local park to try and do at least one mile of walking.

Happy Monday, everyone!
It's another gorgeous day, which got off to a lovely start with a really pretty walk this morning. I convinced hubby to go with me (his first day out of work) ... lots of wildlife, a whole flock of cedar waxwings, frogs croaking, a momma deer with her twin babies... just a really nice morning. I hope I can convince him to make it a routine part of his day (and to pick up his pace a bit!).
Now I'm at work - busy day today!
Tonight I really hope to finish that darned cuff bracelet design I've been working on. Didn't get to to work on it last night at all... sigh.
NORM - I couldn't agree more about UP. I think Pixar did themselves a disservice by not marketing it more to adults, because it really is a "grown up" movie (not that there is anything in it that's not kid friendly... but I think the message resonates more with adults, actually...). I love that movie, and was lucky enough to see it in 3D, where it became a visual feast. FOR ALL OF YOU... definitely go see it. It's worth your time.

Good Morning Norm and family,
Today I am off and hanging with the kids. They are playing Micheal Jackson Beat It over and over on guitar hero. Yesterday we found a bunch of baby bunnies near a tree in our yard and they have been providing hours of entertainment for all of us.
Not too much else planned today. Doing laundry and getting ready for the work week ahead.
We spent the fourth at a block party in Jersey, one of my husbands best friends. It was a great night and was very cute when my husbands friend came up to tell me how awesome I looked. He kept telling my husband and my husband kept saying...don't tell me...go tell her and it was really cute when he did. I am thinking my weight loss must be pretty noticable at this point because this guy does not notice much.
This weekend we are going to DC for my aunts 75th birthday party and that should be another day full of people I have not seen in a long time....isn't it great feeding your ego with people you don't see very often?
Anyway, I hope you all have a great day today. Isn't this weather amazing?? We have lived in NC for the past 6 years and I can't remember a July where you did not melt when you stepped outside. I am loving this!!

Work is crazed today. I have 5 out on vacation, 2 called out sick, so I am in the call center
helping out on very busy medical office phones!!! YIKES.

I agree- UP is defnitely worth seeing! I teared up during it!!
Busy holiday weekend- didn't exercise as much as I need to- need to get that back on track
Working today- extremely busy after the holiday weekend.
Done work at 5;30 then off to meet an old coworker for dinner. Checking out the menu in advance to see what is best for me to have.
Hope all is well with everyone!!

I realize I'm posting late in the day, but it was my first day back to work after my rny. I didn't sleep well last night and had to work late today, so I'm exhausted. Took a walk before work, so that felt good. After work, I went to the grocery store---I can switch to pureed foods on Thursday and wanted to have things on hand for some of the recipes in the Barix Bible. It's off to bed soon, hoping I'll sleep better tonight.
