Good Morning Everyone!!
After 3 days off I got an hour in on my Elliptical. Never again will I take off for that long as it was so hard to jump on it this morning. I did manage to burn off almost 1300 calories on it. I am going to take it easy for the rest of the day. So what is everybody else doing to burn off those 4th of July weekend calories??

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

**** I have more than July 4th calories to burn. But, I'm glad to say that my weight remined essentially stable over these two weeks of feasting and few gym visits.

I did my 45 minutes on the treadmill this morning, and I'll be hitting the weights over lunch today. Feels good to be back in business, so to speak.

Gym bag is under my desk so I can stop at Curves on the way home - walk the dog later - and hopefully get a nice long ride in on my bicycle.

Morning, all... well, my July 4th certainly was more calorie-burning/muscle-building than I had planned, so didn't mind taking a day off from formal exercise yesterday (still did a lot of yard work, which counts, though!)

This morning I got up nice and early and did 1.7 miles brisk walking (no jogging) - accompanied by hubby so I had to slow down a bit to his pace.  I'll work him up to my pace in a few days, I think :-).  We'll see if he can keep up the routine (I hope so!).

Back to more pounding metal later, too!

well yesterday when I was at the pool, I actually managed to do some laps.  Not too many, but enough to feel like I got a bit of a workout.

Today, I will be going to the gym after work. .. cardio (possible spin class) and strength--chest bicep abs..

I am going to do a zumba class today to see if I like it, I did not get to it last week.
Probably do some weights as well

The dogs and I hiked 2.5 miles up mt. Misery and the horseshoe trail in VF park.  They are currently passed out in front of the fan.  Later I have an hour karate class and then if I am still able to move, I will hit the gym for weights and 30 minutes of cardio.

I am on a mission to lose 30 more pounds before January (which is only 5 lbs a month) so I can have plastics on my lower half.

The thought of doing that much exercise in one week makes me tired. I truly wish I had the time and energy to exercise like alot of you guys do. I am just thankful for the ones I do get it! LOL

Good luck on the 30 by january. I have been trying ti have little short goals but I keep having to adjust them.......Ugh!

New goal....6 lbs by August 2nd.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
