3 month check up

Hey everyone, good news. I just got back from my three month checkup and everything is good. My blood work was all perfect, my doc is happy with my progress. I can start tapering off the Carafate ( that is the ulcer med ) and he told me to give it another two months and try coming off the Prilosec and see how I feel. I have lost a total of 53 pounds since my surgery. All in all everything is great. Makes me feel so good knowing that even though I had a rough couple of months with the ulcer and stricture I am doing everything I should be and am right on track. I have to say you all have been such a great support through this. It is great knowing you are all here to rely on. Have a great day. Belinda

Whoo hoo on the great visit!  Great job keeping on, as well, Belinda!  It takes a lot of work without complications to stay positive early out - let alone everything you have been through.  congrats!!!
