I think that is soooo awesome that your daughter is going to do a lemonade stand for Alex's Lemonade Stand....what a great idea!!!! 

Good morning all - I actually have plans today! lol

I am working until 11 then headed to get blood drawn to check to see if I am anemic, then off to grocery shop, home depot and maybe k-mart to look for a new bed spread and curtains. Chris wants to paint our bedroom this weekend ( he normally isn't allowed to paint but I don't feel up to it) and he is ripping out the carpets to reveal more gorgeous hardwood floors!!! Please say the same prayer you are saying for Brian's cooking adventure! lol

Trish--Oh I feel so bad for you!! This sinus stuff has been plaguing you for awhile now!! I wish there was just some sort of quick fix so you would feel better!!! Feel better!! Big (((HUGS)))

Pam-- Oh dear!! Good luck with the hubby in the kitchen!! Although in a way it is kinda of sweet--but I would have the fire extinguisher close by just in case!!!  Have fun though!!! 

Liz--Oh my it seems like this is the weekend all the hubby's want to do something out of their element...isn't it?!!!  Tell your hubby to buy a huge tarp to catch any "mistakes"  !!! Good luck!! I'll keep you and Pam in my prayers!!! 

As for me--today has me doing my usual!  An hour on the treadmill to start the day and some time on the ellipitical then jump in the shower and get dressed.  Then I will straighten upthe living room as the dog decided to pull out al his toys and treats and run around with them --now the living room is a bit of a mess!! 

Then I may dive into the new stack of books I got from the library...or I may watch a movie..or maybe both!!!

Then I will get teenager #1 to get her wash out of the washer and dryer as it has been sitting there since Tuesday!!!! Arrrrg I hate when she does that.....Then tell her to go out and skim the pool....

That is pretty much it...just looking forward to the looong weekend with the hubby--although I am pretty sure he will come up with some "projects" around the house too...  But maybe I can distract him with the parade in town!! LOL

Man, all these girls getting their hubby's to do stuff this weekend - cooking, painting, etc. - well, those are definitely 2 things I WON'T be asking mine to do - he made me his mom's spaghetti 'gravy' one time - it was delicious but took me 3 days to clean up the kitchen!! And his painting is just about as bad, so we let him stick to mechanical jobs - he does those best.

No big plans for us this weekend - going to a friends' house tomorrow for the day and am hoping for lots of hot, sunny weather so we can lounge by their pool and soak up some rays along with some adult beverages. The rest of the weekend will be spent at home doing whatever.

Of course today I'm at work - hoping to get out at 3:00. Will head to Curves, then home - walk the dog, ride my bicycle if the weather permits.

Hope everyone has a great day. I am at work for a little, then have to pop out for my Hematologist appt, then I will come back to work. I get to leave a little earlier today than normal becuase I also have a PCP appt later on.

So after that, it's home. Johnny is helping his buddy who has a race tonight. So it's just me and the 4 kiddos. I was going to attempt to take them to another track for races and fireworks, but not feeling brave enough to do that all by myself, so we may find something else to do this evening.

Other than that, it's going to be a relaxing, laid back weekend. We have some things we want to try and do but no specific plans, which is nice!

Hi All -
Today has me back at work for a half-day.  After that, home to rest for a bit.  Later, I'll take a walk and then off to the eye Dr. later this afternoon.

Looking forward to the 3 day weekend.  Plans include a get together with friends on Saturday night to celebrate the holiday.

I made it through the 12 hr work day.
Today I am working and then heading to the LGH Bariatric Support group tonight to speak.
Any of you lancaster folks that can come out and support me LOL

Tomorrow we head to cleveland for the weekend I am excited
